This is a great location in a lovely part of Hilton Head Island. The condo is steps from a great, well-maintained pool with facilities for grilling in a covered pavilion. Take a few more steps and you are on a wide sandy beach. There is a great view from the condo and the layout is well designed. The owner provided very clear directions for access to the complex, the condo, and the pool/beach as you need codes for all. One suggestion we could make, for people who arrive via flight (as compared to driving to HHI), is to have info on beach rentals available in advance of travel there. We did not have that info and the beach lifeguard, who also handles beach rentals, told us she had rented out all the beach chairs and umbrellas to customers who booked in advance. We did not bring those items with us. We enjoyed walks along the beach, but having the info on rentals would be a nice option. Other rental companies on HHI that we contacted, told us they weren't able to rent to us as it wasn't allowed by the complex. It really wasn't that big of a deal since the pool was so nice, but is a suggestion to consider. We had a very relaxing week and loved the location!
First vacation with the family! It was wonderful. Palmetto dunes is a beautiful place. Condo was ok, for the money we spent I thought it could've been updated a little. But we didn't spend much time in it, so didn't bother me that much. Overall it was a great vacation, can't wait to go nack next year!
Condo is clean and all appliances are in good working order. Our 6th stay at BA306 and we plan on returning next year.
We had a very nice stay. The complex is well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. The condo itself was clean and comfortable but definitely needs updating. Sliding screen door track needs cleaning and lube. Very difficult to open and close.
We rented this condo for two weeks. We had stayed in another condo in this building the year previous. The property is nice and well maintained. This condo did not provide adequate supplies for two weeks. We were given three bars of hotel size soaps for four sinks, three rolls of toilet tissue, two trash bags, two rolls of paper towels, two dishwasher disc and no facial tissues. They also, provided four bath towels and hand towels with only two washcloths. The TV remote was missing to the living room, so TV couldn't be viewed in there until owner fixed situation on Wednesday afternoon. The sofas have what look to be blood stains on them. They are slipcovers, so could be sent out for cleaning. The unit is in need of updating in bath and kitchen. Appear not to have been touched since built. Appliances are stainless steel, but ice maker is inoperable. We won't be staying there again.
We had a great stay with our two boys at this property. There was plenty of space for us, the place was clean, the proximity of the beach was great, and the kids loved the pool. Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful area and I would stay here again.
