Why Gina Marotta chose Mexicantown - Southwest Detroit
Location and classical appeal. I purchased the property via an online auction without a personal viewing. The leaded glass windows and period era wood-work attracted me to the property. I was also aware that Mexciantown was one of Detroit's most intact neighborhoods. I relocated to Detroit in January 2017 after completing renovation.

Nice home in an interesting neighbourhood
We stayed for over 2 months during the summer. It's in MexicanTown, which is a quiet residential neighbourhood 10-15 min from downtown. There are some interesting shops just a few blocks away including a nice bakery, ice cream store and Mexican restaurants. We were working downtown and used the MoGo bike share system to get back and forth. There is also a city bus that stops nearby and obviously ride-sharing is also an option. Overall, a nice place to relax while in Detroit.
Clean, quiet, has everything
I stayed here for six weeks and it was great. Home away from home. The neighborhood and the neighbors are quiet. A really pleasant place to stay. I would love to stay here again.
Thank you Robert for your review. I appreciate your taking care of the home as though it were your own.
Located in Mexciantown near historic Corktown and within two blocks of Clark Park. A diverse selection of restaurants are located within walking distance.
