Three large bedrooms, two with king beds one with two queens and a single as well as a roll away bed if needed. 43" wide screen smart TV with Netflix HBO Hulu and more as well as wi-fi and a land line to keep in touch with civilization if you need to. You are 5 miles to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, 4 miles to The Cherohala Skyway, 18.3 miles to Tapoco Lodge and the dragon tail and 8.2 miles to Robbinsville. And 30 feet to the lake. Bring your own boat and dock for free in front of the house. We have two canoes and a paddle boat for your enjoyment on site. We are in the midst of the best hiking in Eastern Untied States. Joyce Kilmer, Slickrock and Snowbird Back Country as well at the Appalachian Trail all only minutes away. If your a fisherman then the bass and walleye in the lake may challenge your or grab a fly rod and fish Snowbird, Buffalo or Santeetlah Creeks for those browns, rainbows or brook trout. All of these creeks are world class trout waters and no more than 5 miles away.
Rent a boat at one of the local marinas and park it at our large private dock. or you can rent our pontoon boat. We can also give you a two hour cruise for a small fee.
No interaction with the guests unless they ask for some.
Please keep in mind we may use the dock to access our boat from time to time. We or our friends that may use the dock We will not park in the drive and will use a back path to the dock. In no way will this infringe on your privacy or space.
