Location, location, location
From the moment I contacted Rupert to inquire about the property to the day we checked out, I could feel the aloha. The house is the best stocked house I have ever stayed in. EVERYTHING we needed was there. I've never had such a thoughtful host! The house was impeccably clean, full stocked kitchen, beach chairs, bikes, etc. and huge washer and dryer. We watched sunset every day and surfed in front of the house (Monster Mush). Rupert really has gone out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. Looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo Rupert!
This house is perfect! Well- kept, clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The views are absolutely amazing. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves, soak in the hot tub with an ocean view. There was never very many people on the beach, so privacy was great even with the surf competition going on just up the beach a ways. Very close to a grocery store and Ted's Bakery which is amazing. Also, a very short drive from several attractions like Shark's Cove, Waimea Vally, Turtle Bay... Rupert was very easy to work with. Stop your search now and book this house! Would definitely stay here again.
The location and view are unbeatable. We had a very relaxing vacation, spending most of our days on the patio overlooking the beach. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We walked to Sunset Beach and watched world class surfing competitions. We ate most of our meals from the food trucks dotted along the highway. The food was delicious, cheap and convenient. All and all it provided for a very casual and restful vacation. This was our third trip to this property and as always Rupert was wonderful to work with.
This was one of the best houses we have rented in Hawaii. It had EVERYTHING we needed in working order, including knives, bikes, and towels.
The location is very close to the water. There is a beach but you see the ocean from the porch. We slept heavenly with the sound of the waves crashing. Long walks in the morning on the beach, bike rides to Foodland, Waimea Beach and the Turtle Bay Resort, what else could you ask for.
I highly recommend this house, it's great value for money.
House was perfect. We spent all day on the back porch, in the spa and on the beach. The house was clean and has fans in each room. New tv in living room and tvs in all bedrooms. Owner easily available if there are any problems (there werent) but was not intrusive, in fact we did not see anyone the entire trip! Love this place, will definitely use again!
The Sunset Beach property was perfect for our family of four. Upon arrival, we were greeted by covered parking and beautiful flowers and foliage in the front yard. Before going into the house, we took in the amazing beachfront view and knew vacation had started! It is a view that never got old, often times with only the beach, ocean, and sky - no people. That was something we appreciated about the property - the privacy. However, when people were in front of the house, it was entertaining. We enjoyed watching paddle boarders, surfers, and fishermen. One night we stayed up later than expected to watch a local fisherman battle a catch (a manta ray that he kindly released).
The house was clean, well-stocked, and had many extra surprises. Beach chairs, boogie boards, fun-oodles, and snorkel equipment in the outside shed along with puzzles, games, and books in the inside entertainment center. We loved the well-equipped kitchen complete with an extra fridge that was perfect for our vacation beverages. The outdoor lanai boasted a BBQ, large table, chase lounge chairs, and a Jacuzzi! We loved eating meals outside or playing cards with the breathtaking view of the ocean and an occasional bright colored gecko. Having our own personal steps to the beach made it easy and convenient to have our toes in the sand, go swimming, and snorkeling. The outdoor shower was the perfect end to each day. Other great additions were a washer, dryer, and clothesline, great for hanging up suits and towels.
Overall, if you're looking for a relaxing, restorative get away, this is the place for you and your family!
