Beautiful trendy quaint
This apt is cuter in person. It’s around the corner from Atlantic station and lots of acitivity. We felt safe in this complex and loved the view of the golf course and big open window in the living room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. She was extremely attentive and available with any questions. I would definitely stay here again.
I had a short stay over the GT graduation weekend and this was a good choice. Clean, light, airy, etc but also a short drive to Midtown, Buckhead and other areas I needed to get to; not to mention walking distance to Atlantic Station and GT. Free parking was a huge plus. I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to balance the other review for this unit. The owner is a young professional just starting on this path but learning quickly. I found the entire process to be simple and professional. I would stay again.
Riddled with inconviences and problems
We booked a 4-day stay at this property.. Communication with the manager was slow and incomplete. We were given the unit number and key code to enter the unit the morning of our arrival. The manager said she would meet us there so I gave her an approximate time which was accurate within minutes. She was not there and did not respond to calls or texts. We were not told and was unsure of which building the unit was in, and was also unable to enter the buildings and the garage because security requires a key-fob. Thankfully, a kind resident was willing to help us. He let us into the building and also showed us to our unit. The manager finally contacted us and made arrangements for her brother to deliver the fob later that evening after we returned from dinner, The unit was extremely hot so I immediately went to the thermostat to find it had been turned off. It was eventually cooler but still not what I would consider comfortable. We had to call again the next morning because the shower was not working properly and we couldn't get cold water in the bathroom sink. Again, my messages were not answered promptly and I finally had to ask if she was going to send someone to fix the shower. Her brother came the following day to switch out the showerhead and found that the cold water under the bathroom sink had been shut off probably because of a small leak that he noticed. He looked at the air conditioning unit which was covered in thick frost. He took pictures and called the manager to say that she needed to have someone come to take care of this issue and in the meantime, instructed us to open the windows in the unit. The air conditioning was never fixed during our stay. There were no instruction as to the check-out procedure and how to get the key-fob back in her possession, so I sent a message the day before we were to leave and again no response. I sent another message just after we left the unit leaving the key-fob on the counter. I indicated to the manager that I felt given the number of issues we had experienced, a partial refund would be warranted. No response until the day after we were home in which she apologized and agreed. I received $74 today after submitting a complaint through VRBO. The unit was clean except for the carpet which was stained and not as clean as I would expect in a nice property. The location is great but I can't recommend this property and wouldn't stay here again.
Sorry, you feel this way. I have numerous guest that advise me of specific arrival times to the property and most times are wrong and since my life can be very hectic, although I would love to, I am not able to sit around and wait which is why I advise guest to call me when they are 30 minutes from the property. In your case, there was no 30-minute prior phone call. I apologized to you and still came to the area to bring the key even though check-in time is 4 pm and it was around 10 pm when you were done with dinner and I have to be up at 6 am every morning. I was informed about the shower head (which just wasn't spraying the way you thought it should) the next day in which I sent the maintenance man over to replace the shower head the same day so I don't understand the issue. I was never informed about the AC issue until the maintenance man told me himself not you. I called you the same day to ask were you ok in the unit and if you were not I could upgrade you to my 3 bedroom unit down the hall free of charge. You said you were at your daughter's house and you would call me back once you returned to the property, You didn't call back until the next day stating you were comfortable and that I should call someone when I got a chance to come take a look at it. I called someone to fix it right away however since this is a business residence and not a personal one it is a process that you have to go through for major issues of that sort and although I would love for them to come out immediately, unfortunately, that is not the case but someone has since come along and fixed the issue. There are no specific checkout instructions for the property its pretty simple, the only thing I require is that you leave the key on the counter but I apologize for not being clear on that. You asked for a partial refund and I respond back the next day apologizing once again and saying that I would send you a partial refund even though I offered to upgrade you to a better unit and you refused. I issued you a refund like I said I would, however, I still knew we would come to this point and you would still leave a bad review no matter the case. I apologize once again, I am sorry that you had to go through the minor issues you went through, however, I am human also and I make mistakes as well. The unit is also a business not my home and it develops normal wear and tears as well, and I can only fix what I am aware of and since this encounter, I have fixed every issue.
