Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 6
- english, french, spanish, portuguese, italian
Comfortable, but not luxury. Expensive for the price.
The house flowed well and had a good spacious feel about it. The location was good and central with easy access to shops and restaurants. The general standard of the house was of inferior quality, particularly for the price. It is situated right next to a farm, which quite often used heavy and noisy machinery, like tractors. This should be flagged on the website. The neighbours on the other side had a party one night which went on until 5:30am. Therefore if you're looking for peace and quite, this may not be the best place.
The quality of the beds, linen & towels were inferior as were the kitchen utensils and equipment. Everything seemed old, tired and cheap. When we arrived the beds didn't have mattress protectors. Also one of the shower heads was old and rusty and in bad condition, this should have and could have easily been rectified by the landlords prior to our arrival. More care and attention and a good eye should have been taken with regard to the quality, standard and comfort of the house. We called the rep, who responded very quickly and sorted the shower head and linen. The rep for HomeAway/Solmar Villas was excellent. The pool is quite small and the filter broke on the last day.

With its location, tucked away between the old town of Pollensa and the popularseafront Puerto Pollensa, the setting could not be better.
Puerto Pollensa is, without any doubt, one of the most attractive municipalities on the island of Majorca. It was one of the first areas on the island to develop
as a centre for tourism and has been a preferred destination for painters and artists since the beginning of this century. If you keep a sketchpad by your
side, then a holiday villa rental in this part of Majorca will be the perfect way to spend a summer.
