At our beautiful location, you are immersed in the incredible wild nature of B.C., and still only 20 minutes from Downtown Vancouver! We are at the foot of Mount Seymour, a great ski hill just a 15 minute drive up the road. You can access incredible hikes from your doorstep through forest, kayaking and boating up Indian Arm, and many more great outdoors adventures while having easy access to the city. You have a beautiful, quiet, bright, spacious home, on a huge property with a large landscaped garden with a stream running through it. We just extended the roof above the deck so that it's completely covered. It means you can be out on the deck at all times of the year. The garden now has multi level bench seating surrounding a fire pit including it's own trails throughout. Deanna Kasta, the architect owner has lovingly remodeled her prize home, preserving the rich warmth of the Cedar walls and exposed beams, and taking advantage of the amazing views over Deep Cove which you can see from the panoramic windows, the big, wide deck, and the outdoor hot-tub. It is such a delight to soak in the hot-tub beneath the stars, away from city lights, and return to a wood fire in the comfort of your Deep Cove home. The house is on a large (200 x 50 ft) property with a mountain stream and there is a managers' apartment on site for convenient help at any time.
The views here are enthusiastically declared, by all who visit, to be of the best in Vancouver; the tall, ancient forests, pristine mountains and islands, and the calm sparkling ocean. You can watch bald eagles, hawks and humming birds, and you might even be lucky enough to see a bear or a deer!
We provide all the amenities you need to call home, so that you can be self- sufficient and economical, all with a hot tub below with it's own view and the stream running through the entire property. We include great furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, fresh linens and towels, and a package with maps, information, and tips to help you acclimatize. All utilities and services are all free and unlimited, including; a new Movie quality 60" Flat Screen TV with cable and Netflix, and high-speed wireless internet for all your devices!!! We even have a Ping Pong table in our enclosed carport that you can use.
You will love being in the quiet yet friendly Deep Cove Community with it's local theatrical plays and quaint downtown. It couldn't be more lovely. But please don't take our word for it... look at our many 5/5 star reviews included on this site or look at our own website. Our many guests over the last eight plus years express the unique experience of an Eagles Nest stay best.
Noise Restrictions: Our Deep Cove neighborhood is very quiet with four foot setbacks between houses, which is normal for our residential area. The neighborhood is very pristine and quiet and noise can travel quite far here. It is almost completely residential, so noise after 10:00 pm and before 9 am cannot be tolerated. This is especially true out on our deck and in the Garden and outdoor Hot Tub. Please be careful about this because we would not be able to have you as guests in Deep Cove without it. If you do make excessive noise after 10:00 pm or before 9 am or excessive noise in the house that bother our neighbors, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund. Please understand Eagles Nest is not and cannot be a Party House. If this is your intention for your trip, we respectfully ask you please find a more appropriate venue.
Parking Restrictions: Usually we have ample parking for families or friends staying at Eagle's Nest. We have room for 3 cars parked close together in front of our carport here at 2490 Caledonia Ave. (The reason for this is our neighbors have one parking space to the left of our garage (as you face the garage) near their steep driveway.)) The very small amount of street parking on this narrow street is highly valued by residents who have steep driveways, so when there are unfamiliar cars on the street, the neighbours can get upset. So for more than three cars, please use the free car park on Panorama Drive (the parallel road below) and shuttle each other up. The distance (2 ½ blocks) can also be walked easily. Also please be careful not to block our neighbour's driveway and remember it is a quiet family neighbourhood.

My first holiday rental property in Wales, is a gorgeous mountainside acreage overlooking the Pembrokeshire coastline, with 2 old buildings that were transformed from rubble into mansions. Renovating Eagle's Nest in Deep Cove was a dream come true. This has really been my chance to create my dream home to love forever and retire in. I was completely blown away by the views and the feeling of being in wild nature, and the immediate accessibility to Vancouver. when I bought it, the house needed entire renovation, and it makes me so proud to have transformed it to high standards, and to realize the potential of such a beautiful space that I can share this with guests visiting the greater Vancouver area. This is what its all about for me.

From a recent guest: "Paul and Deanna have created a wonderful space looking over North Vancouver's spectacular scenery. The interior is an open plan with a huge living room and a fireplace. The kitchen is excellent and guests are able to dine looking out huge windows at an exotic setting with a fiord-like inlet surrounded by mountains. The master bedroom is one floor above the bedroom and has its own en suite. The down stairs bathroom has a great hot tub. Evening comes and the houses light up on the mountain slopes like jewels. At the bottom of the hill is Deep Cove's tiny main street with lovely little shops near the marinas and a large park. At the top if the hill beyond the house there is a beautiful wood with trails leading through it down to the village. This area has the best that North Vancouver could offer, and the place and view will not disappoint either! I had a wonderful time and hope to visit again."

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. My family and I enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The house was equipped with everything you can think of, and the best part were the instructions posted almost everywhere in the house. The neighborhood was quaint and we loved the creek just below the house and the park near by. There is ample natural light all over the house thanks to the skylights. We cannot wait to be back!!

Great property with a gorgeous view. Despite the fact that the house is in the village of Deep Cove, it is very quiet--almost no sound at all except for the creek. The rooms are spacious and all the amenities are there. Many easy walks, either to the village , to the beach, or the forest nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagles Nest. We chilled out after 6 hectic weeks in South America. This residence is great, the view tranquil and the kitchen very well equipped. Other guests have left behind condiments and spices which help out with meals. The owners have thoughtfully left a book of instructions and helpful hints. It’s a short walk to the village and all that Deep Cove has to offer. The 211 bus goes all the way from Deep Cove to Central Vancouver, making accessing the city very easy. Well appointed home with an amazing view.
This large, comfortable home provided excellent accommodation for members of the South Cariboo Rowing Club and their parents while attending a regatta at Deep Cove. There was adequate sleeping options for everyone and the open floor plan and furnishings provided an excellent opportunity for us to socialize as a group. The home was equipped with everything we needed and we really appreciated how instructions were clearly posted to help us figure out where everything was and how things worked. We also found the property to be easy walking distance to Deep Cove's main street and Panorama Park where the regatta was held. The property owner responded quickly to all requests for information.

Paradise in Deep Cove
Paul and Deanna - you have the best kept secret - your home is absolutely perfect for a bigger group - so spacious and comfortable - the view magnificent - the deck was perfect for all of us to enjoy the nice weather - you thought of everything from firewood, cooking utensils, BBQ, books to look at, games to play - the beds were so comfy - we didn't even leave Deep Cove as your home is located within walking distance to the marina and shops and trails - we all got to enjoy cooking together and hanging out at your beautiful home - we definitely will come back and stay longer! Thank you for a perfect weekend!
We are at the foot of Mount Seymour, Olympic Ski Hill. Ski where the locals do, only 15 minutes from your Deep Cove home. If that's not enough, there are two other local Ski/Snowboard Resorts Grouse (25 minutes) or Cypress Mountain (35 minutes) not to mention the World Class Whistler resort One 1/2 hours away.
