We are pleased to announce that our major renovation of this unit is now complete. (See photos). New porcelain tile flooring throughout the apartment, granite countertops in both the kitchen and bathrooms, new glass shower enclosures with tiled walls, and new luxury plumbing and lighting fixtures throughout raise the level of pure luxury to new levels. Additionally, new moldings and painting have been done. We are now accepting reservations for the 2014 season. Note that our rates do not increase for holidays or other significant Island events and are inclusive of all state and local taxes. Finally, a complete upgrading of our pool and cabana facilities is being done currently at a cost of $500,000.

Enjoy a spacious 1037 sq. ft. unit in Hilton Head's most upscale oceanfront condo community. Windsor court is a five story elevator structure built in the mid-1990's completely refurbished this year. Situated in a lush sub-tropical garden setting, Windsor Court has its own private pool, deck, gazebo and hot tub just steps from the boardwalk over the dunes to a spectacular wide beach. The unit has a separate bedroom with its own private jacuzzi bath plus shower while there is also a second full bath for use by those using the sleep sofa in the living room. A full wall mirrored dining room, completely equipped kitchen and breakfast bar complete the living quarters. Why on earth would you pay much more for a cramped hotel room when you can have all this for so much less.

We thoroughly enjoyed your newly renovated condo and stocked kitchen in the Windsor Court located in Palmetto Dunes. All the comforts of home that your unit provided made for a very nice and enjoyable vacation. The owner provided wonderful and helpful customer service. We will definitely consider staying in this unit again on a return trip to HHI

Outstanding Condo!

Condo was fantastic as was the complex. Brand new bathrooms and a giant jacuzzi in the ample master bathroom. Kitchen is updated and gorgeous. Great living area and a nice sized porch to view the beach from. Complex has a beautiful pool, 3 large gas grills, jacuzzi, and a fire pit. Beach is a short walk away with chair and umbrella service available. On top of all this the owner cares about the renter enjoying their stay and attends to every detail to ensure a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this rental!

Pure Excellence!

The owner was very accommodating. His reponse to requests/ questions was immediate. The condo was VERY CLEAN! We also enjoyed the close

proximity of the swimming pool and the beach to the condo. The heated

swimming pool was indeed a plus!! The kitchen was fully furnished with

anything and everything you may need to prepare meals (which were few,

It was a construction zone and will remain so for several weeks

I have not received any response from Alan - very disappointed.

Alan this is the first time I have ever complained about a unit after renting for

more than 20 years.

Your unit is beautiful no complaints. Location of balcony is next to an access stairwell entry for all units, no privacy on balcony.

But since we arrived it has been like being in a construction zone.

The different crews start at 8am and has just finishing at 5-6pm this has taken place all days including Saturday.

The following crews have worked simultaneously:

1 Tree trimming/mulching and transporting debris in front of our balcony with heavy equipment.

2 Roof construction/ extremely loud and noisy periodic banging/ construction sawing

3 Landscaping with Heavy power equipment/tractors

4 Replacement of windows with power tools and heavy lift equipment

The beautiful balcony has been unusable due to excessive noise it was so loud that during a conference call I had to close the doors to be able to hear the conversation.

I would like to know if you would be able to offer any compensation for all the disturbance.

Had we known in advance about all this construction going on the situation would have been different but since we did not I feel that it would only be fair to work something out.

In all fairness to your next tenants you should advise them that the construction will be ongoing for at least another week.

I did discuss this issue with your wife and requested an answer of above pertaining to this email.

This was scheduled construction and we should therefore have been notified in advance.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry that this guest was not happy with his stay but we had two other bookings immediately prior to his stay and no complaints from either one of them. To ask for a reduction in the amount of his booking fees (45%) is too subjective. Why not 30% or 60%? He doesn't explain how he got that figure. Yet he put up with the so called noise during his entire stay. Why not vacate and make a stronger case for his complaint. I have been over to the condo and can't find a place to park in our garage. Virtually all the cars have out of state license plates which indicate to me that no one is exiting the building over what he is complaining about. We did have unfortunately bad weather during his stay but given that he booked the condo back in January, we could not have given him a heads up on that factor. March is a shoulder season and there is always a risk of poor weather That's why our rates are lower. In sum, I am not willing for the foregoing reasons to refund any of his 4 night stay money.

Very nice condo, newly renovated and fully "stocked" kitchen. The view was great and the grounds were very well maintained. We have always enjoyed staying in these Windsor condos in Palmetto Dunes. Would definitely stay in this one again!

Great Weather, Time of Year, But Not The Construction

The condo was a nice one bedroom, two bathroom condo. The second bathroom was effective for showering after the beach or if you wanted to take separate showers. The decor and furnishings were a bit dated, could use a new mattress, couch and balcony furniture. The biggest detratction was the construction noise that started at 7am and went through 6pm. We spoke to the owner and one of the neighbors that said the construction has been never ending. This was never disclosed or mentioned in the booking process. This building seems to be the only one in the four buildings there on Ocean Lane going through a new roof being put on. Made for a noisy, early morning. Owener only said that they told him it should have been completed by end of March and that we did have a violent hurricane. Regardless, no one informed us.

Note you have a partial distant view of the water from your balcony.

Beaches at this location are very spacey populated, so you do have the best vantage to enjoy the beach.

Bring your own trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper if you use more than one, since the apartment only had the bare necessities.

Other than the above it was a nice place.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry that these guests did not enjoy their stay with us but we must counter some of their complaints about our place. To begin with, they contacted us as a short term renter only a little over a week before their arrival date. We actually met them at Palmetto Dunes and arranged for their vehicle pass at that time and then took them to the condo. Nice things about the unit were said by them at that time. We did mention the fact that there were contractors working on the building when they first contacted us about renting. It is a well known fact that we experienced a Category II named hurricane and as a result, we did not rent our apartment for the first three months of the year. When our management told us that we could rent as of April 1st, we could, and we did at that time. None of our guests complained about the contractors. (See our previous review of April, 2017). These guests now complain about our furnishings and the way we stock our condo with all the necessities expected.(again, see our previous review just a month before these guests arrived). We have never had such complaints in our 10 year history with VRBO. As for our view, the photos clearly show it as it is.
