About Jessica Wynn

My husband, our friends and I have been taking annual ski trips to Boyne Highlands for the past decade. One year, we decided to try Shanty Creek. We loved the house we stayed in but were not so impressed with the resort. Our solution: build a luxury log home at Boyne Highlands that easily accommodated large groups like ours with the convenience of ski-in/ ski-out access right out our back door. In December of 2007 we completed construction on the Victoria.

Jessica Wynn purchased this chalet in 2007

Why Jessica Wynn chose Harbor Springs

We wanted to build our home at Boyne Highland in Harbor springs because it is a four seasons resort. The resort is perfectly situated between downtown Harbor Springs and downtown Petoskey. We enjoy the great skiing and golf, but we also enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback trail riding, the zip line course, tennis, swimming and dining at the Highlands. The amenities at Boyne Highland are excellent. There is always something to do. And, occasionally we make the drive to nearby Boyne Mountain for disk golf and the indoor water park... Avalanche Bay. We love to visit all of the beaches, shops, eateries and nature preserves in Harbor Springs and Petoskey. And our favorite place to dine al fresco is Leggs Inn. We have also traveled to the UP hunting waterfalls and lighthouses and a favorite place to bring new guests is Mackinac Island.

What makes this chalet unique

The privacy that this home offers is second to none yet you are less than half a mile away from all the resort's amenities.

Fantastic experience with this property!

  • 5 of 5

This property definitely exceeded expectations! My group of friends do a trip every fall and this home was perfect for our large party. Everything was very clean and organized plus the amenities like the hot tub and fire pit made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was pretty modern with a classic 'up north' feel. Jessica was a wonderful host and was very timely in responses and answering questions.

I am happy to recommend this property to others and would return myself in the future!

Great Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 13 (8 adults, 5 children under 9) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Victoria this summer. The setting was beautiful. The house was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable, allowing for togetherness as well as private space for downtime. The amenities provided really enhanced the experience, whether it was time for a meal, a game, or simply, relaxation. The area activites and attractions offered something for everyone, regardless of age.

Also, the fact that the entire rental process was handled so professionally and smoothly, from beginning to end, was greatly appreciated.

Everyone agreed it was our best family vacation. We hope to be able to do it all over again someday!

Frozen retreat

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the house - enough room for three families with 10 kids total. Great location right on the slopes. Loved the Guest Services shuttle for those stuck down at the lodge. Kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were comfortable. Kids liked the game room downstairs. Great stay despite the negative temps all weekend.

Perfect for a large family or group

  • 5 of 5

This fabulous home is exactly as stated in the description. Our golf trip to Boyne Highlands was served by the Victoria in grand style. Well appointed home-everything was clean and in fine working order....we grilled, baked, had a fire in the fire pit (would be nice during the winter to see skiers and boarders whizzing by the fire pit on the adjacent run), played pool, hot-tubbed, slept well....then took our mediocre golf games over to the links of Heather, Arthur Hills and Donald Ross courses. Would have played the Moor, but it closed for the season. Jessica was awesome to deal with. Rent this home! 5 stars!!

Great family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Boyne Highlands. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. The house is well equipped for families. Although we did not use the hot tub or grill these were nice amenities. We had lovely weather so spent most of our time enjoying the many activities that Boyne offers including the zip line, Segway, bikes, etc. The activity passes were a good value for our teenaged grandchildren. We highly recommend taking in The Young Americans performance if you are there during the summer.
