About Ron and Meryl Rougeaux

We live in Castle Rock, Co. and love the mountains and weather here in this gorgeous state of ours. Our children are grown but enjoy coming home to the mountains as they both live out of state now with one living in Los Angeles and the other in Seattle.

Ron and Meryl Rougeaux purchased this condo in 1997

Why Ron and Meryl Rougeaux chose Lionshead Village

When we bought our unit we were looking for a place that had tennis courts and swimming pools as both our children were top tennis players in high school and love the water. The location of our condo is great... being that we could walk to the gondola and even come back to the unit for a lunch break if we chose to.

Great location - excellent front desk staff

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location - short walk to Lionshead, short shuttle to Vail Village. The front desk was so accommodating to our every request (babysitters to booking activities.). The pools (outdoor and indoor) and hot tub were a huge hit with our kids. Super.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo. The pools are lovely and they are always a hit with kids. The management did a great job with the remodel of pool and spa areas last fall. Thanks for staying with us hope to see you again.

The mirrors where not a good idea.

  • 3 of 5

We had to move the couch to get some thing that fell in between, and when we moved the couch it was dirty and dusty.

Perfect for a ski trip!

  • 5 of 5

The property was in a great location - 5 minute walk to the gondola, and great proximity to restaurants and shops. Had everything you could possibly need to cook meals in the kitchen. The owners were extremely friendly and very quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away to the slopes.

Vail Mountain is one of the most re known ski resorts in America. Most people come to Vail ski during the winter for skiing and winter sports, although the summers are becoming extremely popular as almost every weekend there are Art Festivals, framers markets, music festivals, etc. Lots of mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting too.
