Needs a Thorough Cleaning and Maintenance

  • 2 of 5

Great location, back yard, and roof deck, but the inside of the house is a mess. Mold and mildew, old accumulated dust, dirty carpeting, grimy kitchen counters and cabinets. No screens on the windows, allowing all kinds of insects if you want to air it out. No ceiling fans or electric fans provided. Master bedroom was invaded by flying termites. The pots and pans provided are mostly unusable due to peeling Teflon surfaces and caked-on remnants of previous use. Lots of potential for a comfortable beach getaway, but this house needs to be rehabbed. Love Cayucos, but this rental does not measure up to previous experiences.

This property, for us, was perfect in every way. I love all the different areas to just relax, both bedrooms have french doors that open up to their own little patios, we spent alot of time on the top deck and just relaxed. Our doggies loved it as much as we did! Will definitely be back!!!! Lance, Debbie, Marley and Koda Bear

Loved it

  • 5 of 5

What a great town. This home had everything we needed for a nice week-long getaway on the Central Coast. It's a short walk to the beach, a great quiet neighborhood, and very accessible to the rest of the coastal attractions.. I would certainly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice quiet escape for a great price.

This property was perfect for us. It's close to the beach and the delightful small town is just a short distance down the road. It's a great location with San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle and Templeton near by. Will be back for sure.

A treat

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay, again. Cayucos is a gem and this property is perfect. Close to town with some great restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach. This is our second stay and there have been many upgrades, new carpet, tile in the bathrooms, new shower, breakfast nook, refrigerator and sink. An all around treat for us. Many back roads to explore. Some good wineries in the Paso Robles area which is a beautiful drive from the coast on Hwy 46. Will definitely be back again. Always a relaxing time.

Whatever the issue was in the previous reviews it has been resolved. House is bright and clean, fence is in place and area is fully enclosed.

Great location and great town.
