Beautiful mountain retreat!
Our family of four really enjoyed this immaculately kept property with stunning mountain views.
Our mornings were spent at Yellowstone National Park where we enjoyed all of the sights and wildlife. Then, we returned to the house each afternoon to unwind, relax and enjoy the mountains away from the crowds.
I highly recommend this property!
Perfect Vacation Getaway!!
Our family of five truly loved our time at this house. The views around the house are amazing, and we enjoyed the birds, the pronghorn that would come right up to the house, and scanning the mountain looking for the mountain goats. At about a half hour drive from the West Yellowstone entrance, we were able to have full days exploring the park, and still get back at a reasonable time to rest up for the next day. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kids loved having the downstairs level to play games, watch TV, and get away from their parents! In addition to Yellowstone, the home is not much more than a half hour drive to Ennis, which has shops and restaurants, and Virginia City, which my family enjoyed. Quake Lake is literally right around the corner, which we found interesting and didn't know about beforehand. If you don't want to drive, there are excellent trails including the Sheep Lake trail and Continental Divide trails which were awesome. We definitely look forward to staying here in the future, and next time I'll be trying the fishing in the area! We would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay near Cameron Montana, and thank you Brian and Laura for offering up your wonderful home!
Brian and Laura's home is a beautiful haven. The online pictures don't do it justice. The mountains around the house are huge and the location is perfect for watching mountain sheep grazing right out of the huge front windows. The hummingbirds dance for you and the pronghorns practically came up to the back deck. All that aside, the location is perfect because its only about a 1/2 hour to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are well stocked with most everything you can think of. Brian and Laura made it very easy to find the house and were very responsive to any of our questions. The beds are comfortable and sheets are amazingly soft. Brian warned us that even in June you should pack some warm clothes and gloves. Good thing we listened to him. We had snow on the first day of summer! Crazy, but true. We toured Yellowstone for 6 days, the Grand Tetons for 2 days. It was a great adventure and never a dull moment for my family.
Peaceful Mountain Retreat near Yellowstone & fishing
The house is beautiful and just as shown in the pictures. The owners supply every ammenity for the kitchen and bath that you can think of. We enjoyed the proximity to Yellowstone and the Madison River for great fly fishing. Anyone wanting to enjoy nature and see the Park should consider staying here.
A piece of heaven
Our stay was everything we could hope for and more! The property has breathtaking panoramic views no matter where you are inside and outside. It’s within walking and driving distance of trails, fishing, and scenic/historical sites. We were looking for a place to completely decompress and rejuvenate and I assure you, this property is so beautiful you cannot even remember your daily stresses while here. Our favorite days here were staying at the home, sitting on the deck in the afternoon breeze watching the hummingbirds, and taking in the views.
The Nesbitt’s are incredibly kind and helpful! They go out of their way to ensure your stay is what you are hoping it will be. They are very quick to respond, and answer any and all questions you have.
The home itself is gorgeous! So incredibly comfortable and there’s no way you won’t feel right at home. Very clean, fitted with everything you could possibly want or need, and very much as described!! This home is a gem, and I’ve never enjoyed a vacation so much! We will be returning! There isn’t any aspect of this experience that doesn’t rate 5 stars from the hosts to the home, location, and views! It has found a special place in our hearts!
This review describes the results we have been striving for since breaking ground in 2003. It is truly our pleasure to know that visitors are enjoying the place as much as we do.
A wonderful vacation home
We loved the house. The views were wonderful. The night sky was so amazing.
