It was a charming home with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. We were very pleased with our experience.
Staying in Port Angeles
A clean, well equipped 1950’s styled property. Well placed to explore Port Angeles. Check in very straight forward.
As only two of us were staying for one night felt cleaning charge excessive.
Loved the gardens
Adorable cottage. Vintage and cozy feel and hummingbirds are a treat!
So many thoughtful touches and generous gestures. The garden was bountiful with grapes tomatoes zucchini apples and plums. The rooms and kitchen were outfitted with lots of useful details - we didn’t cook but it looked well stocked with all support items. Comfortable living room and many perches to watch the hummingbirds who visited often. This was a great place to launch our hike in the Elwha from - close to downtown restaurants and a fun coffee place only a block away.
Nice rustic property near downtown
We have a great time at this property. The gardens of fresh fruit and vegetables were great. The owner nice. Everything worked great. Nicely furnished. An older home but well kept up with everything you need. This close to downtown and the ferry made this property a perfect landing spot for a Port Angeles vacation.
Cute older home that was comfortable.
The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need from kitchen to bathroom. Loved the fruit, veggies and herbs growing on the property, and did watch a hummingbird one morning. Great washer and dryer. The only problem I had was the musty smell that one associates with an older closed up home. Also the refrigerator had not been cleaned out after last guest, the crisper drawer was dirty and shelves needed to be wiped down.
Thank you so much for bringing this up! The comfort of my guests is very important to me and I am pleased to read you did find the home comfortable. Based on your notes, I have carefully reviewed and updated cleaning processes to ensure every crook and cranny gets thoroughly cleaned between every stay, and I have learned how to best use the heat pump during humid summer days while the home is awaiting its next guests. Thank you again for your feedback -- it was very helpful!
