About LESLIE KOLEDA
I purchased this acre of wooded land in 2016 and oversaw the building of the new home following my retirement in 2017. While it is still a work in progress, I am enjoying every improvement and season. l spend time outdoors on the land, planting a dahlia garden, fishing with my grandson, walking the nearby pathways, and entertaining guests on the deck.
LESLIE KOLEDA purchased this House in 2017
Why LESLIE KOLEDA chose Olympia
The Pacific Northwest has always been my home. I know the seasons, the flora and fauna, the easy-going socio-economic culture in which I live. To reside on this piece of nature is to see deer, rabbits and squirrels roam the green property daily. Canadian geese, blue herons, ducks and waterfowl are in the water constantly, feeding on the abundant fish and vegetation. There are occasional bald eagle and otter sightings as well. Living here feeds my soul.
What makes this House unique
Friends have described this setting as serene, peaceful, mesmerizing, breathtaking, relaxing, comfortable, cozy, and fun. Even though I am the steward of this land, I am willing to share its beauty with others who appreciate the natural surroundings.

Had a great stay. Very peaceful and enjoyed the area. Had great time,
Leslie supplied us with everything we neede, house fully equipped. We were close to bike and running trails right up the road. Run or bike to Olympia trail or Lacey trail. Loved the area close to everything. Saw a deer, rabbits and frogs and many birds. Loved sitting on the backyard porch relaxing and chatting while eating dinner. The back yard had a canoe. My son and husband had fun in the canoe. This property was excellent and clean and very comfortable. We came from Florida to see my son love Washington wheather especially in August. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location for travel in and around Seattle....perfect.
Leslie was super. Quick responses to questions, home was wonderful, cooking, laundry, we wanted to nothing. We were close to grocery, church, restaurants, bank, and Target (wife's preference).
We had easy access to interstate, Olympia and Lacey.
We traveled to Hoh Rainforest, Paradise (Rainier), Columbia Gorge, and Astoria (Long Beach). We also spent some time in Seattle. We had a wonderful experience.....
Peaceful and convenient
We chose this home for our small family reunion because it was very close to my father, who we had all came to visit.
We had 4 adults staying in the home and the 4 children spent the days with us and nights with Grampa. There was plenty of space for every one to relax and enjoy spending time together.
We had a family get together and the kitchen was well stocked to cook for everyone.
We enjoyed taking the canoe out a couple of times to paddle around the lake.
The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens provided, and the home is immaculately clean!
Sitting outside on the deck overlooking the lake feels like a quiet retreat in the woods. Wonderful spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading or an evening cocktail. Lot's of birds, and wild life- the kids loved seeing a deer up close!!
It feels so private yet it is so conveniently located. It was just a few minutes to Olympia's unique down town area and the Capitol campus.
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
