Beautiful Bay View in a quiet Neighborhood
Absolutely loved this property! Loved the Bay View from our bedroom! Clean and Perfect.
Quiet and spacious
Getting away to Dauphin Isle is the hallmark of a great summer (or spring or whenever you can get there). We typically stay closer to the West End beaches, but decided to try out the older, wooded part of the island.
We loved how close we were to Fort Gaines, the Estuarium and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, as well as being close to the stores on Lemoyne (especially the very new Foxy’s Waffles and Sugar Den).
The house itself is spacious, clean and well-appointed. The two beds (one King and one full) were comfortable with soft linens, the bathrooms were clean and spacious with a bath / shower combo in one and shower in the other, the open concept kitchen / dining / living room allowed for lots of hanging out and puzzle making.
We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!
Best hide away ever!
My husband has a fear of bridges, so I knew the bridge would be hard on him. When we came over the first time, he had a full anxiety attack sweaty and trembling, but amazingly once he saw what was on the other side. He was so happy and told me I did good. My brother and his wife also joined us, so they also loved the place. Its perfect for couples and privacy. The view on the deck was peaceful and so refreshing. My husband lived on the deck, we spent nights just talking under the stars and just enjoying our time together. The place had more than enough stuff to do whatever we needed. I bought pots and pans and bowls and utensils from home, but didn't need a one. We bought groceries at walmart before we came so I cooked breakfast and dinner, but lunches we did on the island and in gulf shores. We did a day over in gulf shores, by using the ferry. It was amazing and beautiful too. My husband again nervous, but he enjoyed it. We liked gulf shores beach, but it honestly had nothing on the fun we had on dauphin islands beach. Gulf was more people, crowded, but Daupin island was so peaceful and relaxing and just our speed. We loved the souvenir shops, the people were nice, and the bar was great for mingling. My husband is now hooked, he wants to come back next year again, he said the best trip ever! This was my 1st year anniversary and Dauphin island made it special. We will be back.
Chez Dauphine was fantastic
Well kept and well stocked
Wonderful Beach Vacation
We had a great time at this clean, comfortable, and delightful home. We were a couple minutes from the boat ramp and a minute from the beach. The street was very quiet with a breathe taking bay view. And the locals couldn't have been any nicer. Will definitely be back.
