About Dawn Brucher
We are Greg & Dawn Brucher and we live in Fairview TX, near McKinney. We purchased this home as a semi-retirement home for when our youngest graduates High School in 2 years. We love the charm, history and character that downtown McKinney has. We are also so excited about the restaurants and shops. We met at the University of Arizona. After we graduated we moved to San Francisco where Greg was born and raised. A few years later we moved to Phoenix and had 3 children. We moved to Texas in early 2006. Our oldest 2 are Aggies and our son is in High School. We all love to travel, especially to Europe. We are excited to share our new home with others who love the charm of downtown Mckinney like we do!

Why Dawn Brucher chose McKinney
Our home is unique for a few reasons. First the location is wonderful, just under a 1/2 mile to the square with restaurants, bars, and shopping. The stroll to the square is along tree lined streets with beautiful gardens and some wonderful historic homes. The backyard oasis is a dream. The yard has a beautiful double infinity pool with gorgeous tile. There is a large shelf for sitting in the water. There is an area for lounging in the sun, an outdoor living room with a sofa and chairs. It also has an outdoor dining room which seats 8 and has a really pretty chandelier. There is even a small grassy area and a built in BBQ and mini-fridge.
What makes this House unique
Downtown McKinney is a special place. Semi-Urban living with unique stores and restaurants. The dining is very diverse with lots of unique options. There is a local butcher and a weekend farmers market. The shops sell unique items and lots of antiques. The people are friendly and the area is a lot of fun. There is often a fair or festival going on.

A Beautiful Respite
This home is just beautiful. Well appointed and welcoming. Clean and inviting. Everything was provided. The pool is stunning, and the property owner was very gracious and extremely prompt in answering inquiries. I would definitely rent here again if returning to McKinney!
This property is amazing. Beautiful place with relaxing atmosphere. Very close to the historic downtown McKinney! LOVED the pool. Dawn is a very nice person and helped make our stay very enjoyable. Hopefully, i can make it back!
Very nice location, near McKinney Historical Downtown. We appreciated the swimming pool, with the +100F we had during our stay.
Great place for family to unwind.
We flew into Dallas to visit family and found this great place for everyone to stay together. We loved the relaxing pool and great outdoor space to cook and eat. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but will definitely return for our next visit.
I brought 7 High school girls for cheer camp and stayed at this amazing home. Everything about our stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious and the house was very clean. The outdoors were amazing and very well kept. The pool was the perfect place to end a hot day of cheer camp. The owners were so kind and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to get away. We hope to come back sometime soon!
This area has great & unique antique shops with beautiful home decor and decorator pieces. Lots of locally owned bars, restaurants and shops. Stroll the tree lined streets to see historic homes and grounds. McKinney is a short 30 minute drive to Dallas with sports teams, dining and shopping. There are wonderful museums and lots to see there including the book depository where the shots were fired on then President John F. Kennedy.
