House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

Our home is a wonderful, unique spot for you to spend some time. The beach is a very short walk away! The back yard is large and fenced, so pets and children will be safe and happy. The screened in porch is ideal for relaxing and dining! There is a lovely pool and plenty of room for sunbathing, cooking out and entertaining. It truly is the type of house I would call 'a good ole home-place.'

Best Home In Grayton!!!

  • 5 of 5

I have no words for how amazing our Spring Break at Eddyland was!!! Very relaxed, layed back home. Beautifully decorated, great screened in porch and amazing pool. Pet friendly. Marsha is a dream. Easy walk to the beach, Red Bar, and The Zoo Gallery. I have a teenage son who took a friend with him. They had a blast. They rented bikes and rode everywhere. Everyone in Grayton is very friendly. When asked where you are staying and you say Eddyland, a huge smile comes over their face and they say, "We know that house, It's the Hippy House". Love it!!! We are already re-booking for next year :) Hats off to the owners for creating such a relaxing, beautiful environment. Looking forward to many many returns!!!

Eddyland is hands down the best place I have ever stayed at the beach. The pictures of the property online only give you a small window into the ambiance of the actual property --- which is absolutely breathtaking, from the interior of the home to the screened in porch, to the natural landscape of the fenced in yard around the pool. A vacation home that even my dog was able to enjoy thanks to their awesome pet policy. A quick stroll down the street and you are on the beach, or you hang a left and you are at Zoo Gallery and Red Bar. A great location and plenty of space for everyone. I truly cannot say enough about how great the experience was -- so much so, that my friends and I will definitely be back soon -- our new found vacation home away from home!!

I have been to Eddyland twice before (this being the 3rd) and it has been the perfect place to stay every time! It is such a comfortable setting. I suggested staying here to a group of my friends that were wanting a place to visit, and after our trip they all said they couldnt have been happier with Eddyland and its location at The Beautiful Grayton Beach!!! Thank you to the owners for having such a wonderful place for me and my friends and family to enjoy!

No Place like Eddyland!

  • 5 of 5

We shard this house with another family (12 of us!), and it was perfect! Huge backyard with awesome pool. Large screened porch on back where we drank coffee every morning. Easy walk to beach! We loved the rustic appeal of Eddyland and plan to stay again next summer. The house is quaint and eclectic and very comfortable. Very well stocked--almost like owners just left so we could have it for the week. We rented based on price and great reviews and we were not disappointed. Can't say enough about it! You will love this place!

Edyland was fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the house. Loved walking to The Red Bar. The beach was seconds away! The house is unique and fun! More spacious than I realized. We loved the outdoor living room. The pool area and bar was a gas. We had nine people and had plenty of room. As a vacation rental owner myself, I can not say enough about our stay at Edyland! Thank you, we want to rent it again next year!!

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Eddyland in April of 2010. 10 other families had rented condos in Fort Okaloosa Island, about 45 minutes to the west, but we had no interest in high rises or strip malls, not to mention the traffic! Eddyland is a large very spacious house right on the main drag, great for people watching. We brought bikes and kayaks with us, so biked to the park, all around town, and over to Seaside, and kayaked in the lake and the ocean. Nice bike shop up in Blue Mountain Beach. The salt water pool, outside shower, and proximity to the beach is what sold me on this rental. The house itself is authentic beachy, so if you are looking for luxurious, this may not be your spot. It's a "put your feet up" kind of house, and if you drag in some sand, well, it will get swept up later. We however loved the uneven wood floors and fundy decor. The extra fridge was great to have, and the screen porch, yard and pool - wonderful. We loved the Red Bar, and caught a performance featuring drummer Jabo Starks, one of the two funkiest people on the planet! Marcia was available for anything we needed, and even Eddy himself made an appearance for the annual town meeting and picnic, which we were invited to attend! The town itself is charming and quirky, and we felt very safe letting our kids (11-16) bike around the town. The beach is the real attraction - beautiful sand - and if it's too windy, the kids can play in the warmer shallow waters of the lake, which empties into the ocean. Very cool. There is not a highrise to be seen along this stretch of beach, which is what brought us here. Sorry this took me so long to post, but we are now booking for spring break 2011.
