About Stay Duvet
I love traveling, my family, my dog, green tea, coffee, sushi, making music, nutrition, reading, meeting new people, and living life to the fullest. I work for Yelp and put on public events in Charleston. I've lived in Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Jupiter, FL; Chattanooga, TN; New Haven, CT; Athens, GA; and now I live in Charleston, SC and NEVER want to leave. I live by the motto "Leave nothing behind but good will". I'm a big believer in karma and care about quality control in what I do. I hope to not only be a good host, but your friend and guide (if needed) during your stay here in the best city in America :) I want you to also see whats good in the locals eyes and not just what is marketed to the tourists.

Great Location and property for a girls weekend
Great central location! Clean, safe property with parking. Great for a weekend in the town if you don't need all the amenities of a kitchen. The fridge, sink, coffee maker and microwave was plenty! However all of the AC units were noisy, especially the one in the master. It sounded and felt like it was pulsing all the time. It made it hard to sleep. The communication with the management company was also a bit delayed from time to time but no issues.
The only things I would mention is as others have said the individual AC units are loud and need replaced. The one in the master bedroom is the loudest. They should also mention that the parking behind the unit is not accessible from the back. You have to walk around the block to the front of the building and climb quite a few stairs to access the unit. You can park out front in the loading zone to load and unload your luggage. This would be very hard for someone who has trouble walking or trouble with stairs.
The unit looks just like the pictures, just beautiful and very comfortable beds. Even with the loud ac units we would stay again.
The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because three of the four the AC mini splits (the ones in the bedrooms) were very noisy. Temps were mild when we were there so we did not need them but there is no way we would have been able to sleep with them on. They need to be replaced.
The unit was safe, neat, clean with plenty of towels. The unit has been renovated and decorated beautifully. It sits right on top of a great restaurant yet we couldn’t hear or smell the restaurant below. Walking distance to many things. We had our 7 and 13 year old kids with us so it was great to be able to walk to the water, building and house tours, bike rental shop, shopping, restaurants, carriage ride...the only thing we drive to was Boone Hall Plantation and Ft Sumter. Both very easy drives. Note the unit does not have a washer or dryer or a full kitchen which is noted in the online description. It was great having a fridge, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, eating utensils, drinking glasses and sink area. Perfect for our needs. With so many close, amazing places to eat-I cannot imagine needing more in the room! I highly recommend! Confirm beforehand if going in warm months that AC units have been fixed or replaced.
Clean and affordable for 6 people
Everything was great. Very clean. Best thing was we were right in the middle of everything. Shopping, food and entertainment. One minor thing was the air conditioning was alittle load. Other then that our experience was great
This apartment is in a great location directly across the street from the Belmont hotel and it’s fancy shopping area. One thing that is misrepresented on the listing is it says laundry supplies are included but there is no laundry in the building. It was not a giant negative to me but we were expecting it. Additionally there is no place to cook anything in the unit. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator. I would suggest that the listing was updated otherwise we had a really good weekend.
