It's the perfect place to stay for the College World Series.
This home boasts an amazing open floor plan and views of the lake on both the main and upper level. The kitchen includes bar seating and opens up to a dining and living area. French doors take you out to the furnished deck where you can watch the sunset on the lake or view the resident wildlife including bald eagles and cranes. Relax by the wood burning fireplace or watch the game on either floor. Wake up to stunning lake views in the Master and spare bedroom. Spend the day on the lake or the city. You will love it here.

You may have guessed the picture isn't of me. It is the age our twins were when we purchased this vacation home. They were doing their part to get things ready. Now we have a family of 6 so lots to do in our household. We do live in the area and have a maintenance supervisor should you need to get a hold of myself or need other assistance.
Stephen purchased this house in 2007
We love lake activities and full service lakes close to Omaha just don't exist. So when we found this property at a reasonable value on a full service lake we had to snatch it up.
We hope that you are able to enjoy all the benefits of a lake property while still being so close to downtown Omaha, the world's best zoo, CenturyLink Center, TD Ameritrade ballpark, the airport and so much more. It is truly a little piece of paradise.
House is nice, great location for Omaha activities. Neighborhood is a little iffy but never had any problems. Beds are rock hard.
The surrounding neighborhood took me a little off guard since there are some really run down houses around this one. But there weren’t any problems with them.
Plenty of sleep space! Although most of the beds were extremely firm and hurt my back. Would have liked more blankets and pillows as well.
We didn’t use any of the kitchen amenities although every option was available! Would have liked complementary coffee however.
Overall it was a great experience. Would stay here again. Do hope that someone does something with the surrounding homes.
This was our third time to stay at the home by the lake when we go to visit our grandchildren. It has become our official home to celebrate our oldest grandsons birthday and it's a tradition we hope to share for years to come. It is just a home you can enjoy spending time with your family with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed. We love the view out the windows even if it's a frozen lake during the winter and enjoy watching the geese. It's just a peaceful place in the middle of the busy city life.
We stayed here over the weekend. The lake view is wonderful. The only issue we had was with the internet, but quickly discovered that a cable had been unplugged. Also had trouble with the television but that was because both cable remotes were with the downstairs television. Nothing we didn't figure out in a few minutes. As mentioned in other reviews, the beds are very firm and some updating is probably in the near future. However, the upstairs kitchen area was were we spent the majority of our time and everything we needed was there. The deck on the back is very nice and I could see it being a gathering place in the summer. Winter conditions didn't allow us to use it. Getting in the house and was very easy and we did not have any problems. If you are looking for a place to get away and just relax, this is more than acceptable for your needs. The inside of the house seemed to be very clean.
Set up real well and a nice kitchen, nice rooms. Would recommend it to others
Location off the lake is just perfect! Even the view from either living room is gorgeous! The house itself was well kept and more than large enough for our family. (5 Adults and 2 children) Stephen, the owner, was always responsive and even let us check in early! Had no issues finding the home, just plugged the address into the GPS. We had the chance to get to know the neighbor as well, it’s a sweet little community! The only feedback I would say reflected negatively on the home was the spiders. Of course the home is on the lake and it was cold / wet during our stay so I couldn’t say that this is a consistent issue. Still giving the home five stars none the less. We would absolutely stay again should we ever be back in the area!
