Terrific Tiny Home!
This was a great little tiny house. The bathroom was uber tiny but still manageable. It’s v
Beautiful tiny home in great location.
We had a wonderful stay at this sweet, tiny home. It has beautiful views of the mountains, but is close enough to the conveniences of the town. Ron and Linda are very nice and the have a great dog named Roscoe who enjoys going for walks with you. Hope to be back next year. Thank you Ron and Linda.
Lovely, quiet location
This was a very convenient location to start our two week visit to Glacier National Park. Very quiet.
So first off you don’t get a physical address more of just directions on how to get there. It’s truly a tiny house that’s not functional at all. When we arrived on Friday we entered the home and found that the reviews were correct they don’t like to clean or clean well. There was coffee still in the coffee pot and the filter and coffee grounds in the coffee maker. So it lead me to believe the people before us left, made the bed, and no one came in and cleaned. Which lead me to believe there were not clean sheets on the beds. Per other reviews this house is tiny and really only comfortable if you have two people. We were a family of 3 and even though we had a little that could have slept in the loft I found it very inconvenient due to the fear of her needing to use the rest room in the middle of the night and falling down the ladder that is literally straight up and down. The bathroom, you have to stand part way in the shower to shut the door. The sink, toilet, and shower are stacked right on top of each other so being a big adult you will struggle. The shower is dark, there is no light in it. It doesn’t help that 3 of the 4 bathroom bulbs were burnt out, and the dark shower curtain does that small room no favors. There truly is no place to sit except in/on the bed or front porch as long as it’s not raining. There is a window in the loft but without a window on the other side of the loft you get no cross breeze and it becomes extremely stuffy up there. Especially if it rains. There is WiFi but is shotty at best. So if you are relying on any sort of WiFi for the kiddos don't. We never once met the owners but that is neither here nor there. However someone who maybe lives at the home came home on Friday night at 12:30 am and was extremely loud. Which didn’t help my 7 year old sleep who was already struggling to fall asleep. In a very irritated moment Friday night/ Saturday morning at 1 am I was searching for hotels to take my family in the morning as this place was just not clean. I found a hotel in Kalispell with a full size kitchen and stove for 20.00 more a night then we paid at this chicken coop. Needless to say I would never return to this place and we left a day and a half early because we couldn’t bare the thought of having to spend another night there. Additionally we went and bought blankets because we knew they were clean. But a majority of the reviews talk about cleanliness.... believe them. It’s true!
It is painful to read your review of our property. I can only testify that the house is thoroughly cleaned after each guest, including clean sheets, towels and blankets. The coffee pot could have been an oversight but even that would. be a rare occurrence. The house is advertised as a tiny house, which it is and consequently the space is small, including the bathroom.. However you did not include that it is a fully tiled shower, and that the light bulbs are not burned out but missing, as a light fixture with 8 bulbs is unnecessary in that space. Additionally the loft space does have a door to the ladder that can be closed to prevent anyone from falling durning the night and a double railing encasing the loft space. I assure you all bedding is cleaned including the blanket and comforter. The owners (me) correctly did not meet you because we are not always home, however when we are home we do make every effort to connect with out guests, which thus far have been reasonably happy and satisfied. I assume the directions were accurate and detailed as you did find the house and we have had people confused by address alone as GPS is inaccurate in our neck of he woods. Upon request we have always shared our address. Again, your review is painful and I wish it wasn't so. LInda
Nice cottage in great location
I loved the location of this small cottage. It included nice amenities, and a great dog to take walks with. The owners/managers were very friendly and helpful. Their usual cleaner had an emergency the day of my arrival, so the place was not as clean as it might normally be, but other than that my stay was wonderful.
Exclusive intimate, well kept and private. Easy in and out to connect to civilization again. DVD player and monitor to play movies with a few discs available if you didn't bring yours. super comfortable, with a loft and two beds and a queen sized downstairs.
Greeted by a cheerful and friendly dog, my stay was good, even with a foot thick blanket of snow, I was warm and comfortable, I had reception with T-Mobile, no WiFi available.
I apologize for the lack of wifi for you. If there is a problem with connection please call the number on the key. There is wifi to connect to under lindaswireless. We will post a sign in the cottage. Regards and come again. Linda
