The house is located in a special part of Truro: not far from Truro Center (close to Town Hall). You don't have to get back on Route 6 to get to the bay (Corn Hill) or to the ocean (Ballston). It's a short walk to Castle Hill Center for the Arts, and to the Pamet for kayaking. You can also walk to Truro Center: Monday farmers' market, Blackfish Restaurant, Sunday morning yoga, Thursday eve. concerts on the Green, fish market, and the bus to P-Town. We no longer have a dog (we lost our beloved German Shepherd years ago), but we keep the house dog-friendly in his honor.
Truro has the most beautiful ocean and bay beaches on the Cape, where you can watch the sun rise over the Atlantic and set in full radiance over Cape Cod Bay. Proudly one of the least developed parts of the Cape, Truro has the advantage of being situated between the charm and fresh-water ponds of Wellfleet and the culture, shops and liveliness of Provincetown. The National Seashore is a treasure trove of woods, dunes, and barely-used trails. The Pamet River, explorable by kayak, runs through Truro, where bird-life abounds.

Please inquire about June and September-October rates, and other off-season weeks or weekends.
We charge $2800 a week in July and $2950 a week in August, plus a $400 security deposit. Part of that is a $100 cleaning "fee" - if you leave the house basically clean and wash most of the towels (don't worry about the sheets), then we happily return the cleaning "fee."
