Remodeled Classic Florida house 2 pleasant blocks from the beach.
Large 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Modern kitchen and updated bathrooms.
Quiet single family beach neighborhood bordered by Atlantic Ocean, Ft. Pierce Inlet and the North Jetty State Park-No through traffic
Pre-condominiums, none on this beach. Ocean path is sand and sea oats and used only by the neighborhood.
Surfing and Fishing at the inlet state park. It is considered one of the most consistent wave spots in South and Central Florida
Public boat ramp is accessable in minutes--there is space at the house to store a trailer and boat. Ocean access via the Ft. Pierce Inlet is quick and close.
The Indian River Lagoon is one of the most biologically diverse estuaries in the nation. Exploring by Boat and Kayak or fishing for snook is a fine way to see this part of Florida.
North Hutchinson Island from the Ft. Pierce Inlet to Vero Beach has a collection of some of the best beaches and parks. A bike path goes all the way to Sebastian inlet, 30 miles.
Raw bars and seafood restaurants exist and need to be discovered. Best methods are aimless wandering combined with non-specific goals.
We live in Aspen and desperately need to have some ocean time for sanity.
The Owner purchased this house in 1985
We have a nostalgic feeling for Old Florida. The North Jetty State park, The Ft. Pierce Inlet and the beach surrounding this small subdivision takes you back to a time before development on the coast got prolific. Walking thru the sea oats to this stretch of beach and ocean seems adventurous and magical.
Beach, beach and more beach. Body Surfing, Board Surfing, Boogie Boarding and playing tag with the surf. We also like a day of Charter Fishing. The Last Mango charter boat is docked at the Ft. Pierce Marina. And there is a Saturday Farmers Market there and a Tiki Bar. Buying fish for dinner and eating some conch fritters is a good morning jaunt. Taking a small boat out between the islands that dot the intercoastal or a small boat trip up to Vero for lunch at the Riverside Grill is very fun.
My husband and I loved the style of this house in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the beach. The original terrazzo floors, updated kitchen and sun room were nice touches in this pet-friendly home. There are lots of things to do in nearby Ft. Pierce and great places to eat are also close by. The additional mother-in-law unit with kitchenette and bathroom is great if you have teens or friends staying with you!
