I booked this trip last minute and it was a wonderful location and so easy to walk to town for Coffee!! So cozy and homey feeling! I really enjoyed my weekend here!
Run down with no management in case of any issue
The property is ok near the town. This unit 202 is completely outdated with torn carpeting, worn out couch, horrible bed, & cabinets that are falling apart. The ski in & out is not completely true. You need to walk a good distance to get on a slope with a lift to get to the mountains unless you walk less & ski down to to the gondola, cross the street & go up to the slopes. Either way this location should not be advertised as ski in & out. Will never stay there again!
We are sorry to hear about your experience, Mark. The carpet has been replaced and the homeowner is planning on replacing the couch and dishwasher. The ski in/out is based on the amount of snow. The unit is 50 ft to the trail which takes you to the closest lift. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future.
The space is ideally located. Could use some updates but being slope-side is awesome.
It was ok I suppose.
The place was a bit run down, but I guess I expected the worst going in. The dishwasher wasn’t properly installed so it would fall out of the counter when loading. Furthermore, we tried to wash a load and it didn’t clean a single dish in the slightest. The main carpet was very run down. I had to specifically request the hot tub code from the staff prior to arrival and it was incorrect; Luckily a neighbor gave me the correct code. One of the kitchen drawers fell apart when I pulled it open. I also thought it was weird the bed sits on a box spring when the bed stand is the equivalent to a box spring so a box spring mattress isn’t necessary; This makes the bed really tall. My family felt like they were going to fall threw the bath tub, the tub base must not be supported properly. All of the outlets are extremely worn out and provide no hold to electrical cords and they just fall out of the outlet – but they had new covers on them lol. The location was great for everything though – bus stop, ski in, down town, Peak 8 and Village. The internet was good, no trouble there. The hot tub didn’t have a very good cover on it, so water constantly evaporates; I think it was refilled while we were there because our second night it was only 74 degrees and the previously night it was 100. I suppose I would stay here again, but would try to find a better place before settling on this one again.
We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and apologize for the drawbacks you encountered. We will soon be installing a new dishwasher and will also be installing new carpet in the near future. The hot tub is the responsibility of the HOA, and they ask that guests please close the hot tub when they are finished using it. Thank you!
Good customer service; place needs updating and fixing
The customer service Vacasa provides is great. The property though is old and it seems the owners don’t care much about hiring a handy man to fix things. The oven is ancient and off center so when opening the oven door you also open the adjacent fridge door. The bath tub didn’t drain, no clue how house keeping cleans the tub. The cabinet doors are falling off. The pillows are super thin. The couch looked like 500 people had slept on it before I got there... meaning the cushions were basically flat. BUT the property is ski in and ski out so if you really love skiing and only want to sleep then this place could work for you. You can literally hop off the 4 o clock trail and walk 20 feet and be at your unit.
Accomodation was great, hot tub was a bonus. Most importantly for me, Location was PRIME!
