Don't let anyone tell you that there is a better location or view then the Mana Kai, Maui because it just isn't so The Mana Kai building is located 100 feet from the sand and ocean and less then 20 feet from a wonderful pool. There are no roads or anything else between the Mana Kai and the ocean.

Everything at the Mana Kai was totally redone with a $5,000,000 renovation and the building has never looked more beautiful.

So, plan your next vacation there and spend a quiet week, 2 weeks or a month in our wonderful unit. We are on the 6th floor BECAUSE WE ARE AN END UNIT, it offers tremendous privacy as the walk way does not pass by the guest bedroom.

Our unit was also totally renovated and is considered one of the most upscale units at the Mana Kai. Two King size beds, a queen size pull out sofa will keep you and your family or guests comfortable and happy. A flat screen t.v. in each bedroom and free Wi-Fi to keep all happy and up to date with the world. But, why not just leave all of that at home and listen to the ocean 24 hours a day.

The master bedroom and bath area is something that you will wish that you had at home. The master bath has a shower large enough for two, a large dressing counter, more then ample storage for all of your things, a hair dryer and a safe with self set combination in your closet. the guest bedroom has a bathtub/shower and hairdryer provided. Bamboo cabinets were installed throughout the entire unit.

The kitchen is totally equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, stove, microwave and large frig. Enough pots and pans to cook for a large crowd and all of the amenities that you need for cooking and eating. Should you decide to grill rather then cook in the unit, simply take the elevator down to the main floor, walk across the lawn and there you are with two large gas grills.

An evening out? A5 star restaurant and bar are located on the main floor. Happy Hour is a very popular area wth a large selection of pupus and sushi bar. A high end deli also on the main floor--wine and spirits being sold there along with anything that you might need. Lunch specials offered daily.

If swimming in the ocean is not your thing, a newly renovated pool and lawn area is provided. Lounge chairs are provided for all guests and you'll find beach towels in our unit.

Activities? Stop at our activities desk (also on the main floor) and they will have you signed up for any activity that the island offers--from golfing, whale watching, snorkeling and tours etc.

Shopping--the Wailea shopping center is just a mile down the road and offers many restaurants and beautiful shops.

Feel like just lazing back and reading a book--our private lanai awaits you--for lounging or eating.

AS MANY AT THE MANA KAI WERE--DAVID WAS A UAL PILOT AND CAME TO MAUI OFTEN--WISHING THAT HE COULD OWN A MANA KAI UNIT. UNFORTUNATELY, HE WAS ON FURLOUGH WHEN THE UNITS FIRST CAME UP FOR SALE. FAST FORWARD ALMOST 20 YEARS, THE OPPORTUNITY FINALLY CAME AND WE BOUGHT UNIT 615. OUR UNIT HAD NEVER BEEN UPDATED SO, IN 2012, WE GUTTED EVERYTHING AND DID A TOTAL REMODEL.

ALMOST TOO MANY REASONS TO NAME. ONE BEING TRULY RIGHT ON THE WATER AND SO CLOSE THAT THE COUNTY WOULD NEVER ALLOW BUILDING THAT CLOSE TO THE WATER AGAIN. NO ROADS BETWEEN THE CONDOS AND THE OCEAN AND POOL AND A QUIET BEACH WITH THE FIRST LARGE HOTEL OVER 1 MILE AWAY.

What makes this condo unique

I THINK THAT ONE OF THE BEST BENEFITS IS THE FACT THAT THE MANA KAI IS CLOSE TO SO MANY THINGS. SO MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, A HIGH END SHOPPING MALL, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND WHAT BEATS FALLING ASLEEP TO THE SOUND OF CRASHING WAVES.

The renovations you've made are beautiful. The bathroom is elegant. The kitchen is beautiful--we love the tile work. We only had one day that we couldn't eat out on the balcony. The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely condo on a great beach!

I booked this unit over Christmas for my in-laws. We were there at another unit at the same time so I did see this unit and am able to comment and pass on my in-laws remarks.

My in-laws were extremely happy with it. It is nicely updated, full air conditioning and had everything they needed. It was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything they needed and more. The views are lovely. They especially liked being on the end and how quiet it was. The bed was very comfortable for them. There were more than enough towels, bedding, dish soaps and paper products for their use.

This was our 4th time staying at the Mana Kai and my in-laws 2nd time. This is their favorite condo so far! We love the Mana Kai. It is right on the beach. Morning walks and evening sunsets are so special there. Not to mention watching the whales from your lanai! There is a store onsite that has pretty much anything you need. There is also a desk with lovely ladies that will book any excursion for you. If you’d like to rent a kayak or SUP there is a rental store for that on site as well.

It’s one thing to stay in a place that is perfect but another to deal with the booking etc. Paulette and David were so easy and amazing to work with. From the time I first inquired about the unit until we left they were approachable, kind and always got back to me right away.

I would highly recommend this unit to family and friends.

Best location in Maui, Fabulous Condo, Will Definitely Be Back

This condo is located in the best position in Maui, right on a beautiful beach, close to great restaurants and facilities and beautiful garden setting.

We were impressed with The condo from the moment we entered, it was right at the end of the corridor so was very quiet. It was really nicely decorated and had everything you can think of from kitchen utensils to beach chairs.

We had a great experience with the owners and will definitely be back here next time we go to Maui.

nice place, rude owner

We had a nice stay at the Mana Kai- the view was beautiful! The beach was awesome and the lobby updates are really nice. The unit itself was fine- I dont prefer carpet in a tropical setting and the comforters could have used a wash, but I would say it was a decent unit. The owners left notes about where to eat and such, but not much info about the unti itself, like where's the trash/recycle for the complex. No biggy though. The prop manager called in upon our arrival and they were friendly.

Our buzz kill happened upon our return when one of the owners in the unit totally offended me and my family. She was told by the housecleaing service that we left the place in 'poor condition' and then she attacked me and told me she couldnt believe we disresepcted her place, and that our home must be a 'pig sty'. I feel that she could have asked me my side of the story rather than attacking my character! For the record, the unit required the normal mop, bathroom and kitchen scrub, and dust down- a family of 4 for 10 days and we got it sandy, ok?! But it was not above the normal range of messy- we tidied up nicely. They claimed we left piles of garbage and dishes in the sink, but we didn't and I think they are getting taken advantage of. I would never recommend this unit and if you choose it, be sure to scrub your own toilet on your vacation of you might be verbally attacked by meany too!

Owner's Response: We have owned our unit for 14 years and, in that time, we have only not returned a security deposit once before. This family was the second one. We have had our cleaners for 12 years and they certainly know average needed cleaning from leaving a unit in poor condition and charging us extra for this extra cleaning. I did indeed ask this renter if this is how she leaves her own house and why was she so disrespectful to leave our "home" in such poor condition.The renter stated that there was no vacuum cleaner or broom etc. in our unit--obviously she never bothered to look in the kitchen closet where she would have found all of these things. We take great pride in our unit and have been renting it successfully for 14 years with great success. If anyone would like recommendations from many of our previous renters, please just ask.
