The apartment is set in mature tropical gardens with a pool and poolside restaurant. its located beside the Don Carlos Hotel and a 5 minute walk from the Alanda Club. The beach is 2 minutes away. The complex is wonderfully secure and ideal for a family holiday. There is a lifeguard and kiddies pool. Las Golondrinas has a private gate, which leads to one of Marbella's most beautiful beaches. There you can enjoy sunbathing, water sports and beach side restaurants. The local shops are a 5 minute walk. A 2 minute walk brings you to the Don Carlos 5* Hotel renowned for its restaurant setting, overlooking the Mediterranean.

Adjoining the Don Carlos is the Tennis Academy. Whether you play for fun or are a top professional this is the finest tennis club on the Costa del Sol. For the more enthusiastic shopper La Canada (15 minutes by car) offers Zara, Sfera, Corteifel and many more stores all under one roof. Elvira's Santa Maria Golf course is 5 minutes by car. Visit Marbella & Puerto Banus for shopping and sightseeing.

Fairly well kept apartment. Spacious. Amendities very good. Wifi- excelente.

Negative: 1) Better curtains in middlexroom to keep light out. 2) Comsider adding another tv outlet in one of the other rooms.

Outstanding Holiday

This was our first sun holiday as a family of four and it is one to remember for all the right reasons. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. We travelled with an 8 and 10 year old, stayed for 10 days but would have loved to stay for longer. The complex is big, quiet and very well kept with beautiful gardens. There are two pools watched over by a lifeguard and the complex has 24 hour security. What we really we liked about the pool was that there were lots of other kids and a great family atmosphere in the complex. Shopping, restaurants and the beach is all within walking distance!

We hired a car so we could explore the surrounding towns, but depending on the type of holiday you want, it is not necessary to hire a car. We went to the Mijas Water Park which is fabulous but the highlight of the holiday was the day trip to Tangiers in Morocco. The kids are still talking about it. We cannot recommend it enough.

Looking forward to returning!

Beautiful, home from home

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was our third visit. The apartment is very smart and modern with quality furnishings throughout. From the apartment you can see the beach and the mountains. Its only 2 minutes to the beach which is great for lovely long walks and there are a great selection of restaurants that are all very convenient.

The grounds are beautifully maintained with a good size swimming pool, lifeguard and restaurant. The complex is in a peaceful, quiet location - but only 2 minutes from the main coastal road which links all the main attractions. We tend not to car hire as we enjoy the pool & beach so much. There are several supermarkets nearby so everything is within walking distance and if you want to travel there are plenty of taxis nearby.

We've stayed in the Marbella area many times, but this is by far the best apartment yet and we will keep coming back.

The apartment is located in Elvira, Marbella on the Costa del Sol, which covers about 300km of the Spanish Mediterranean Coast. This beautiful coast nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains consists of a series of large beaches, coves half-hidden among cliffs, harbours, towns and fishing villages. The cities of Seville (2 hours), Granada (2 hours), Cordoba (2½ hours), Cadiz (2¾ hours) and the rock of Gibraltar(1¼ hours) are all within easy driving distance.

According to legend, Seville was founded by Hercules. The city lies on the banks of the Guadalquivir and the La Giralda cathedral is one of the largest in Christendom. The Isla Mágica amusement park is located on the original Expo site in Seville and is a wonderful family day out.

Highlights include the Anaconda and El Jaguar roller coaster rides, the Iguazú ride set in an Amazon jungle waterfall, various shows staged throughout the day, and a cinema with tilting seats and a giant screen.

Notes:
The complex has private parking, 24 hour security and a secure perimeter fence. There is a lifeguard on duty at the pool. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the two double/twin bedrooms have a large bathroom beside them with a toilet and shower. The apartment is on the first floor with access by stairs and lift. The poolside area has ample sun beds and the poolside restaurant serves from early morning to late in the evening during the summer months. There is also a reception where you can book day tours and find out local information. If you do not intend to do any touring around the region I would recommend not hiring a car as taxis to Puerto Banus, Marbella and Mijas are reasonably priced and the taxi rank is 2 minutes from the apartment. There are also day tours to Rhonda, Seville, Cadiz, Gibraltar and Tangiers.
