The Timbers is one of only two true ski-in/ski-out buildings in the Keystone Ski Area. Located in the evergreens by the river just above the gondola. Easy walk to all the new shops and restaurants in the River Run Village base area. Luxury and convenience combined in one property.

This luxury building offers a spacious lobby area with stone fireplace in the lounge, game tables, grand piano, wet bar, and big screen TV. Clubhouse with heated indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, exercise facility, and steam room.

Unit #3059 has 2BR/3 Baths and is on the first level (ski back right to the private porch). It also has a stone fireplace, washer dryer, 3 new flat screen TV's, 12' ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and jetted Jacuzzi tub. Premium rates apply for this property, but our rates are far lower than Keystone Property Management charges for the same size unit in this building.

Bed layout: BR1--King + Twin day bed/twin trundle bed (sleeps 4); BR2--Queen; Living Room--New Queen fold out. The unit also has two 6' long portable twin futons (can be put in any room; extra bedding provided for fold out and futons).

Dated, but perfect location.

This condo is definitely dated, but the location makes up for it. This is our second year in a row to stay in this unit, and we have already booked it for a third year.

The decor is definitely dated, and it could use some minor maintenance (lock on one of the back doors is EXTREMELY difficult to operate, the kitchen tiles don't ever seem to be clean because they are pretty beat up, water damage around master shower, very worn carpet). All that being said, this condo is VERY large, VERY comfortable, and in one of the best locations possible. It's one of the few units in Keystone where you can park your car right outside your backdoor - makes loading and unloading a piece of cake. While you might get better views from a unit on a higher floor, we've fallen in love with the convenience of being on the first floor.

Despite the dated feel, two things would make this a five star review: 1.Updated tvs (especially in the living area). While there are three flat screen tvs in this unit, they are all small enough to fit inside the original tube-style tv cabinets. A large flat panel tv mounted over the fireplace would be a huge improvement. (The internet signal here is outstanding, and we like to bring an Apple TV with us and curl up on the very comfortable couch at the end of the day and watch movies.) 2. Key Card access through the backdoor. As I mentioned, the backdoor access here is one of the best features of this unit. But if everyone in your party is out skiing, someone has to go through the front door to let everyone else in.

Also, Seymour Lodging is an absolute pleasure to work with. If you don't book this unit, book something else with them.

Perfect location!

Our first trip to Keystone Mountain and everything about it was "Epic"! The location of this condo was perfect for our family. Our sons were able to come and go as they pleased with it being right on the mountain. We were able to cook our own meals and have lunch at the condo which was great. We loved the heated road leading into the building and the underground parking was so perfect as we had 45" of snow in 6 days! We planned this 6 months in advance and couldn't have picked a better week to go. This mountain is so underrated and I hope it stays that way! The only thing it needs is a few more blankets for the beds as we were a little chilly but all other amenities were great. If you are planning for next year, I highly recommend getting an Epic Pass - for $300 you are good for the whole season. Even if you only use it for a week, it pays for itself as lift tickets are $149 a day. It also gives you discounts for up to 6 other tickets to use and we did. You have to buy the pass before December though so plan early! Thanks for a lovely time and we will be back next year for sure!

Great condo

Condo was perfect! Easy walk to gondola/chairlift, and village. Wifi worked great. Loved the lobby with coffee and paper in the mornings and the ski storage inside was especially convenient. Heating underground parking was nice as well. Will definetly stay here again on our next visit to Keystone!
