Our area has received a lot of attention of late. USA TODAY rated Gulf Islands National Seashore the best beach in Florida. And CULTURE TRIP named Perdido Key one of the ten most beautiful cities in the United States.

Welcome to our luxurious and fully equipped condo in the exclusive Beach Colony Resort, a private gated community. With an ideal third floor location, you will enjoy an incredible view of the gulf and pool without the uneasiness of being on a high floor. Each floor in the building has only four units with private elevator access codes.

The unit is 1,750 square feet of heated/cooled space and has been professionally decorated in a tasteful and comfortable Florida motif. Designer furniture including soft overstuffed sofas and chairs, plus 'top of the line' pillow top bed mattresses are featured. The condo is also equipped with mostly large, flat screened televisions, each with a DVD player, in the living room and all 3 bedrooms. We also provide high-speed internet with wifi capabilities.

The large living room conveniently flows into the kitchen, dining, and breakfast. Breathtaking views of the beautiful gulf can be seen through the floor to ceiling glass door and windows with direct access to the oversized 370 square foot balcony, which is equipped with teak wood table and chairs and 'steamer' lounges and 2 pub size chairs.

The condo is complete with a large well equipped and full service designer kitchen with granite countertops, upgraded cabinets and appliance with abundant overhead and under-the-counter lighting. A breakfast bar and pantry also compliment this space. You will enjoy the view through the bay windows in the dining alcove of the kitchen. Whether you are a gourmet cook or not, we pride ourselves in plentiful, above average cookware, small appliances, utensils, dishes, etc.

This condo boasts three large bedrooms, each with a private bath and balcony. The master suite is equipped with a king-size bed (with new, top of the line mattress), two night stands, large chest and armoire. Storage will not be a problem with many oversized deep drawers plus a huge walk-in closet. The master bath has a long double sink vanity, separate shower and a large whirlpool jetted tub. The master suite also has 'floor to ceiling' window/door with direct access to the main balcony overlooking the ocean.

The second and third bedrooms are also very spacious with large closets and designer furniture and bedding. Both rooms include a sliding glass door accessing private small balconies. The second bedroom has a queen bed and large private bath with very large walk-in shower. The third bedroom has twin beds and a bath which is directly accessible from the bedroom and from the hallway. All linens are provided. Both the second and third bedrooms have more than adequate storage.

The laundry room is conveniently located off the foyer and is equipped with full-size washer and dryer plus an iron and ironing board.

A vacation at Beach Colony will offer you a resort experience complete with three swimming pools, including our indoor, heated pool with hot tub, two clay tennis courts, relatively new 2,000 sq. ft. fitness center, three grilling areas and two walk-overs to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Our beach is only a short walk from the famous and beautiful Johnson Beach with nature walking trails, picnic areas, and public facilities. You will also have endless choices of fabulous restaurants nearby.

Pensacola, Florida and Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, Alabama are all very close and offer museums, theatre, festivals, fishing charters, and theme/water parks. The naval air museum is top rated in the country and includes an IMAX theatre with two shows daily. Also, watch for the Blue Angels practicing over the beach on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays through the summer.

Our beaches are part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, which begins less than a mile from our condo and continues east for 23 miles through Pensacola. This pristine stretch of protected, white sand beaches and emerald water is one of the few places left on Florida where you can find a beach all to yourself. Your days can be spent exploring historic sites, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, hiking or just soaking up the sun. Both Pensacola and Perdido Key both include family family fun, quirky shops, fresh Gulf seafood and fine dining, all with a relaxed southern charm. Find a spot to watch the sun set over the Gulf, then enjoy cocktails on our large deck, and complete your evening enjoying live music or a moonlight dinner at a beachfront restaurant.

Great location on a beautiful beach

This condo is quite large and perfect for a family. Very pretty beach and good restaurants close by in Orange Beach or Pensacola. Make sure you bring all paper products: paper towels toilet paper and even coffee filters.

Lovely! Beautiful view!! So relaxing!

We loved being on the 3rd floor (which is actually like being on 4th or 5th because of the "ground" level below the 1st floor). The view was perfect from the balcony, the pool was very nice, and the beach was amazing! The condo is very spacious with very nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans. Tom was so easy to contact and work with in getting our vacation planned. We would definitely enjoy staying there again!!!

We had a wonderful time here. The location and size of the unit were perfect. Very close to many good restaurants and some shops. Daily walks on the beach were wonderful.

The unit could use a few things for renters; kitchen linens and bathroom cleaning items in particular.

Owner's Response: Leo, First of all, my family and I appreciate you staying with us and are very pleased that you enjoyed Perdido Key and that our unit in general provided you and your wife satisfaction. I am sorry for a couple of negatives. As you were a long term renter (approximately 5 weeks), we should have made some exceptions to our standard policies regarding linens and cleaning items for long term guests. The bulk of our rentals are short term, anywhere between 3 - 7 nights and we generally don't provide bathroom cleaning products. We talked a couple of times during your stay and if you had mentioned these items, I would have gladly provided for your longer than average stay. My housekeeping company provides a minimum supply of linens, including linens for the kitchen and sheets/towels for each of the bathrooms. If you had asked for additional linens, my housekeeping service would have gladly brought these over. Leo, you and Barb are wonderful people and I only wish you had communicated these dificiencies to me. You were more than accommodating to me regarding a few of my special requests and I would have welcomed the opportunity to accommodate you with whatever you needed. I only wish that I had been more proactive and asked you what I could do to make your stay more enjoyable. Thank you Leo and it was great having you stay with us. Tom Cornelius, Owner

I collect a total of 11.5% transient sales taxes and pay to the respective tax authorities of the State of Florida. There is also a $400.00 refundable damage deposit which is payable with your final payment due 30 days prior to arrival date. After your discharge, and satisfactory inspection, this will be refunded to you within 7 days. If there are issues, I will call you. Please feel free to contact me direct regarding booking or general questions. Note that during our busy summer season, there is a minimum 7 night rental and from Saturday to Saturday.
