About Glenn Gremillion
We live in a small town in central Louiaiana and have vacationed on the Alabama Gulf Coast for more than 35 years. We have three grown sons and four grandchildren, We bought our first property in Gulf Shores in 1983, and eventually purchased two houses at Ft. Morgan. Since our retirement, our dream of spending relocating on the Coast has come true. As full time residents of Gulf Shores, we actively manage our beach house and are at your service 24/7.
Glenn Gremillion purchased this House in 1999
Why Glenn Gremillion chose Fort Morgan
We enjoy the seclusion of Ft. Morgan with its beautiful white sand beaches. The Courthouse is located directly on the beach. It is large enough for reunions, family vacations or golf trips. WE DO NOT RENT TO YOUTH GROUPS OR SPRING BREAK GROUPS. We have all the amenities you would expect or need to make your vacation memorable. We look for to seeing you at the beach.
What makes this House unique
There numerous golf courses that challenge any golfer. The resturants are terrific and the shopping is out of sight.

Great spacious and relaxing property
Everything was amazing. The views, the space, the layout, even the location! We stayed with 6 adults and six kids so we had a full house, but it never felt crowded or overwhelming. The beach is steps away, something that many other house do not offer. The boardwalk makes it so easy to run down there. Don't get stuck trekking through the sand like in some of the other rentals! It's about 20 minutes from the main strip so it's quiet, we didn't see or hear any loud groups in the area either.
The location can't be beat. The size, floor plan & number of bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect.
The house is old & worn and definitely needs some TLC - at the very least, a good cleaning! The downstairs master bath was mildewed all around the shower head and the tub needed to be cleaned before we could use it. An upstairs master bath was slow draining (almost clogged) in both tub & lavatory. It was not a problem for us to bring our own towels, but I wish I had also brought my own sheets. All of the bed linens need to be replaced. They were old, faded and threadbare with pulls, pills, ripped hems & holes in some.
The kitchen was not quite adequately supplied. Kitchen utensils, pots & pans were there, but mismatched & minimal. Only one side of the toaster worked, the ice maker wasn't working for most of the week and the 1 empty cabinet for our food had to be wiped out before we could use it.
The house has certainly seen better days. In its present condition, it is overpriced.
Perfect for a large group
We had a group of 17 people, so the 6 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms were great. Location couldn't be beat; we didn't want to be close to town and we weren't. The house could definitely use some work; a bathroom door in one of the bedrooms wouldn't shut; multiple bulbs were burnt out throughout the house; the broom was all but useless (as was the working vacuum--and it is impossible to keep all that sand out); an upstairs bathroom didn't drain at all well and led to a funky smell; the deadlock on the front door was busted. I would definitely recommend a larger grate for the grill--the grill was a good size but the grate was about half that. A different family cooked each night and after the first night and an overly extended cook time (and very hungry people), everyone who was grilling had to modify their meal. Kitchen is very well supplied. Two full size fridges was a godsend. The ample seating on the back porch was awesome--it was where the adults gathered in the morning with coffee to watch for birds and dolphins. Beach is beautiful and clean. It is a little hard to walk down because there is a ridge at the water line but given a storm or two i imagine that could change!! Water was clear and warm; we got some jelly stings but nothing that kept us out of the water. All in all the inconveniences were far outweighed by the ability for all 17 of us to gather in one space and enjoy each other. We would definitely return if we can ever manage to clear schedules and get family groups spread throughout the country and world together in one place again!
Very nice house
