We rented A3 several times and it felt like a home to us. When the owners told us it was for sale, we knew it would be our home. Mauna Lani is a quiet upscale resort with many amenities.

Big Vacation on the Big Island

My family had an enjoyable stay at David and Chris' Golf Villa in Mauna Lani. The view out the back of the condo of Mauna Kea was beautiful. The condo and all the amenities made our stay feel like a second home. Although there are a lot of things to see and do within the resort, my family and I explored the Big Island. We fished one day on the Huntress out of Kona (caught a Blue Marlin), went on a snorkel excursion, zip-lined at Umauma Falls, rode atv's at Waipio Valley, biked to see the Lava flow at Kilauea, cliff jumped off the Southern Point, and travelled to green, black and white sand beaches. However, as nice as the villa was you may wish to chill and relax right there.

We stayed here for a little over a week and didn't want to leave. It felt like home. Beautiful home in a great location. Nice pool, gym and a private beach.

We will definitely come back for longer.

Home on the Big Island!

We had a great stay at David & Chris's Golf Villa in Mauna Lani. The condo had everything that we needed for our 10 day stay on the Big Island. We traveled with two adults and our 15 and 11 year old children and had plenty of space. We cooked in the condo often and had everything we needed to prepare meals. They even provided things like spices, cooking oils, plastic wrap, tinfoil, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. which helps tremendously when you are traveling. The location of the resort was perfect for exploring the awesome beaches and we even made a few trips over to Hilo. Thank you for sharing your Hawaiian Paradise. My husband said it felt like we were staying in someone's home vs. a vacation rental so I think that sums up our experience. Thank you and hope to be back soon!

Very nice condo with superior sunrise views

Well appointed condo with everything one could need. Morning sunrise views could not be better (unless the coffee was already made for you). Wonderful welcoming by Bennett who will make your stay even simpler. Great time and hope to go back soon.

We had a great, 2-week, family vacation on the Big Island. Your Hawaiian home is very warm, inviting, clean, beautifully decorated and surpassed our expectations. It was very nice to be welcomed by Bennett and for his assistance with our questions. He definitely helps the process run very smoothly. We really appreciated your quick and friendly responses to our emails throughout the rental process. My husband and I and our two teens (14 yrs and 17 yrs) felt very comfortable in your home. Our daughter has mobility issues and your one-level, ground-floor home was easy for her to access and move around in. It was definitely the nicest rental property we have stayed in and we really appreciated all the “extras” that it was stocked with. We had an extra piece of luggage filled with snorkel equipment, binoculars, laundry soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and cooking spices because we normally need to provide these ourselves in a rental property. Anyone renting your property is very lucky to have all these items and many more extras such as beach towels, chairs, body boards, toys and even tennis racquets and balls provided in your home. The location was the perfect home base for our many, daily excursions around the island. We enjoyed cooking our own breakfasts and most dinners in the condo and appreciated having a barbecue which we didn’t have to wait for or share. It is very handy to have a Costco a half hour away in Kona for our large grocery shopping trips. We visited a different part of the island every day and also enjoyed a sunset and stargazing program on top of Mauna Kea and a 2-hour, helicopter tour to the active volcano, rainforests, Hamakua Coast, Kohala mountains and waterfalls. We were very lucky to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on a night when the active vent gave us a wonderful show of lots of molten lava churning and splattering in the dark sky…an amazing experience. We really liked the Beach Club and black sand beach at Mauna Lani and Hapuna Beach. There are soo many nice areas to enjoy in the Mauna Lani Resort area. David and Chris, we can’t thank you enough for generously allowing us a late check-out when our flight was leaving at 11pm. We will highly recommend your home to anyone visiting the Big Island. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Hawaiian Paradise

My family of four enjoyed a wonderful vacation at David and Chris' Hawaiian vacation property. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals in Hawaii and this place was the best stocked unit we have ever stayed in. It included soaps, shampoos, spices and oils in addition to numerous beach towels and toys. It is also immaculately clean. Bennett was most helpful during our stay and it was nice to have a personal "aloha" greeting and send off. We would recommend this unit to family and friends and cannot wait until we are able to return to your paradise again in the near future. Thank you!

Note: Reservations of 30 or more days between April 1 and September 30 will receive a 15% discount.
Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.

Rentals over 30 days will require extra cleaning during the course of the stay. Cost and schedule to be determined.

We accept checks or bank draft. Payments through MasterCard, Visa, or Paypal are subject to a $5.00 per day processing fee. Payment by other than credit card requires a refundable $500 security deposit

Hawaii Tax numbers: TA-180-793-5488-01, GE 180-793-5488-01

Contract and $650 deposit for short term rental or one half the charge for long term rental are required within 7 days after contract is sent. Long term rental is 30 or more days. Final payment is due no less than 60 days prior to arrival date. (Long term rental final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival.) Dates will be blocked out after signed contract is returned and deposit is made.
