We would love to have you and your family as our guests if you choose one of our beach houses. With much aloha! Hope to hear from you soon!!
This was the perfect cottage for our Christmas vacation. The cottage was clean, well stocked and steps from the beach. We really enjoyed the beautiful garden, where we would start our day with coffee and end it with our evening drink.
Danielle was absolutely fabulous ! She insured we had everything we needed. She even brought us a famous Ted's haupia pie for Christmas. There was also coffee, macadamia chocolates and fruit awaiting our arrival. This was a nice touch and very much appreciated.
The cottage has everything you need to feel at home. Although the cottage is small it was quite sufficient for 4 adults. We spent most of our time in the garden when we were there.
We would definitely book this again !
House was small but perfect for our party Perfect location and yes beach 1 min walking distance ! All amenities needed and more ...The fruit coffee and chocolate was a great surprise ...Warm in the house during the day but not much time spent inside ... AC in rooms was nice to have in the evenings ... Would book again!!!
I don't even know where to begin... I guess I will start with how much I desperately miss this house and Hawaii. We just returned from my annual trip to Hawaii and we had yet another glorious day in one of the beautiful houses in Ewa Beach. This time it was this quaint little cottage that me and my husband spent many evenings outside on the lawn listening to the ocean, feeling the breeze and enjoying life. There were many evenings and mornings that we grab yourselves a cup of coffee walk down to the beach which was less than a minute away from our Hale, just to catch a sunrise or sunset. Everything we need it was at our fingertips towells, boogie boards, snorkel gear, shampoo, in all the different Essentials that we would probably need to cook/bbq when we wanted too! Definitely one of my favorite parts of checking into this beautiful Cottage was finding fresh pineapple waiting for us. Darla, Lori and Danielle really take pride in making sure your stay is not only extremely accommodating but they really take it a step further and make it feel like home. I don't think I could ever thank them enough for always taking care of us. I really didn't want to leave ever and cannot wait to come back. In Ewa Beach we were literally within minutes of the North Shore, short drive to the Disney resort (where I got the best massage ever) and we really enjoyed being able to see the fireworks in Waikiki from the beach behind our property! We had our own personal little spot on the beach and a perfect view of Diamond Head without even having to drive into Honolulu. We were just a married couple celebrating our anniversary and it was definitely the perfect size for us but it would also be quite enough for a small family. Please take your time and enjoy the back lawn area...it was one of our favorite spots!
We had a wonderful time at this cute little vacation rental. This place is absolutely great and right on the beach. Everything this was clean and comfortable. The house is stocked with everything we needed, including the needs for our 7 month old baby and 4 year old toddler. Both of our kids enjoyed the amazing fresh fruits that were kept for us. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, especially families traveling with small children.
The beach house was charming. It had everything we needed. Close to our family who lives in Ewa which made it very nice! Just a few steps to the beach. And neighbors were quiet and friendly.
We had a wonderful time at your house at the beach. Everything was clean and welcoming. Wonderful fruit and chocolates and great pie. We will certainly check into your other places on Maui. Love love love Hawaii. Mahalo
You will find Ewa Beach a great launching spot to go all over the island. As you head out of Ewa you may catch highways in all directions. Ewa Beach is a full service community with groceries, many different ethnic foods as well as national chains.
Koólina lagoons is just 25 minutes or so further west. This is favorite place to swim with total sand bottoms and calm waters. There is public beach access as well.
Costco and Walmart is just 15 to 20 minutes in nearby Kapolei.
When not in traffic the airport is about 20 minutes away. If you are catching a flight though give yourself plenty of time in case you do hit traffic.
The aloha Stadium swap meet is a good cultural experience and a great place to buy gift for you and you, your family and friends.
Pearl harbor is also very close by as well. We have the Waikele outlet malls just a few exits away. My family loves to get Malasadas at the Leonard's truck in Waikele shopping area.
Catch the H2 an easy way to the North Shore. Stop at the Dole Plantation. It is a nice place to pick up some local treats, see the trade of Pineapple farming, try the Dole Whip.
As you continue to the North Shore you will want to stop by historical Haleiwa town. If you did not get full of sweets at the Dole Plantation, you must stop by Matsumoto's Shaved ice in Haleiwa. My family loves to eat at Killer tacos but there are also many good restaurants to choose from if you are in the area around lunch or dinner.
For the adventurous, jump at your own risk off the rock at Waimea. This beach is seasonal for swimming. Many times there is a strong under tow and other times it is absolutely perfect.
Waimea Falls is a beautiful easy walk through a botanical Garden laden with many Hawaiian culture information. You may swim in the falls if the conditions are favorable. They can let you know when you enter the park.
Has you go around the island you will see beautiful scenery of mountains and ocean coming together.
China Mans hat is a fun stop to get pictures. The Kualoa Ranch is fun with different tours you can do. I did the movie tour with my daughter once. If you have a movie buff in the family you may want to stop there.
My visiting family did the tour at the Macadamia Nut Farm and said it was really worth is and a nice cultural experience.
Laie Point is a nice place to get some pictures. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Put is in your GPS you will find it.
One of my favorite beaches on the island is Lani Kai Beach. Another one you will have to put in your GPS. It is next to Kailua beach. You have to park in the neighborhood on the side of the road. Just pray for parking. We rented a paddle board at the nearby surf shop and put it on our car and brought it to Lani Kai. It was a fun experience for all who were willing to try and fun for those who got to watch as well.
You will want to take a loo at the Pali lookout. Hold onto your hat or leave it in the car. It is very windy but it is very nice birds eye view.
I do not suggest seeing the whole island in a day. Do it in parts and really enjoy it.
I have heard one of the best Luaus is in Sea LIfe Park. I do know that on the West side Paradise Cove and Germaine's Luau is near to the house. I suggest Paradise Cove because of Location and the before dinner activities.
Waikiki is great for High end shopping, Night life and fine dining. We recently went to the Top of Waikiki for dessert for my daughter's birthday and enjoyed the revolving restaurant. We have gone for a walk up Diamond Head and enjoyed the views. It is a nice walk with many stairs. You do have to be somewhat fit but not a star athlete. It is best to go early. Take water and sunscreen.
Evenings are fun in Waikiki for street entertainment. On Friday nights there have fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
There are so many things to see and do around the island. If you wish to have a relaxing day at the house you are less than a minute walk away. If you have jet lag and you are up early take a cup of coffee out and watch the sunrise over Diamond Head.
I have heard on a number of occasions from our guests over the years that it is Oahu's best kept secret. You will love the quiet uncrowded beaches and views of Daimond Head and sunsets in the evening. Many talk about how friendly the neighbors are.
I do hope you choose one of our homes.
