This EXTRA LARGE Phase II, executive and luxurious 2-bedroom condo at Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort has a spectacular ocean view (Sea of Cortez) from the extra-large patio, master bedroom and living room. The second bedroom has a walk-out patio with a partial view of the 18-hole, par 72, Forrest Richardson-designed golf course. Please see Link to owners website below.

THIS CONDO IS THE LARGEST 2-BEDROOM AT LAS PALOMAS (Phase I or II). It is an 1800 sq. feet condo (PLUS a 550 sq. ft. patio) in Phase II, with all tile floors and granite countertops. The condo has a SPLIT-FLOOR PLAN, and is an END UNIT on the 11th floor of Beachfront, Coronado Building. Underground, secure parking is just a few feet from the elevator for easy access.

Our unique size and floor plan make this condo feel more like a home. Our location offers a lot of privacy. No neighbors on the one side and a small ( currently empty ) one bedroom condo on the other side. We are just a few steps away from the beach.

Both bedrooms have King Size beds, a 32 inch TV and DVD player. They each have access to their own bathroom and each have walk-in closets. VERY PRIVATE!!! The living room has a 50 inch Plasma with a DVD player.

The swimming pool area has a negative edge pool, lazy river, toddler pool, swim-up bar and a heated pool. There is a water slide just steps away in the Phase I pool which is also open to guests. Food service is available at all pools.

There is a fitness center which can be used by all guests, located near the Phase I lobby.

The beautiful white sand beaches at Las Palomas are private. Activities on the beach include beach volleyball and beach soccer. You can also rent jet skis and ride the banana boat, parasail or get on a fishing charter.

Why Jack Pearl chose Sonora

Because of its proximity to Phoenix, we figured Rocky Point was the place for us. It is very convenient. No airports, no long lines at security, no hassles. Rocky Point is perfect for our family.

What makes this condo unique

This is the most relaxing place we have ever been to. It is not Hawaii where every minute you have to be out doing something. Here, you wake up when you want to and you can enjoy doing nothing all day long. No schedules at all. We spend all day at the beach or at the pools. It is perfect for us.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This is not a guest review, but a statement to my future renters. Recently, I had a renter who left a less than desirable review. As a result, I made a trip down to Las Palomas on August 13. The mattress which he complained about was not a mattress problem, but a box spring problem. The box spring in the master bedroom has been replaced and the squeaking is gone. Also, a full mattress cover was installed in each bed. Other items corrected were to replenish the amount of spoons and tupperware. Also added were items for use at the grill down by the elevators.

This renter complained of the lack of housekeeping, however, after further investigation, it was discovered that the housekeepers did arrive at the condo to clean and the renters declined service more than once. The renters signed that they declined service. On another occassion during this renters 8 night stay, the housekeepers did show up only to find the do not disturb sign on the door. When housekeepers find the do not disturb sign on the door, they honor it. They also try to call the renter to see if service is necessary. This renter did not answer the phone, perhaps because he was on the beach or by the pools. Although housekeeping is not perfect, in this case, they tried to do their job.

Some people will nit pick a place to death. When this renter says that his 4 year daughter did not sleep comfortably, really?. Since when do four year olds complain about where they sleep? He even complained about our coffee table, which incidentally, is not cheap.

I also spoke to the person in charge of customer service. It is not uncommon to be put on hold when they are busy. That also happens in this country when you call the airlines or even hotels. Rocky Point was full to capacity during the week this renter stayed at the resort. That is over 800 condos. Staffing had been an issue, but it is being resolved as a result of the occupancy levels.

We make every effort to make our condo enjoyable for all. Most people look beyond a finger print smudge on the microwave, or the shape of a coffee table. They look at the overall quality of this resort. Las Palomas is by far the best resort in Rocky Point. They offer more pools and more activities for everyone.

Las Palomas is the place to be.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo! The condo is great! It is huge, has beautiful views, and has everything that you need for a perfect getaway! It is definitely in the perfect location! Jack is a great owner to deal with. He was very responsive from day 1! I would highly recommend this condo and can't wait to return!!! :)

Why stay anywhere else? This place can't be beat.

The condo was great! Jack was professional, communicative, and very pleasant to deal with. The location of this unit within the property is ideal.

The property itself is top notch. We're from Phoenix area and have concluded that we have no desire to take our San Diego trips again. This drive is shorter, the water is 100 times nicer, and cost is about half.

Everything you can ask for! Condo on the beach. Beautiful views from living room and master. Huge balcony perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail while watching the sunset. Condo owner is so friendly and very helpful! Condo had everything needed for a perfect stay! Resturants on site were great. Pool side accommodations were fantastic. Always had available chairs by pool and ocean. Close to town, cabs always available in front of lobby.

Excellent Condo and great times!

The condo was just perfect, much nicer that I could have hoped for. The resort is awesome and the afternoon sun from the balcony is not to be missed. We spent the afternoons laying out on the lawn chairs, drinking margaritas and listening to music all from the balcony, very tranquil. The host was awesome and the whole process was seamless. Will definitely be back!
