This condo (unit 255) is set in beautifully landscaped grounds in building 6 and has over 1300 sq ft of living space with a private lanai with breath taking, unobstructed views of the ocean. Kamaole III beach is 500 feet from your door and was recently named as one of the top beaches in the world! The beach has a gentle surf with full time life guards on duty. The beautiful pool located just steps from the unit, along with a tennis court and BBQ's. Ample parking and laundromat are provided on site. Located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions, this condo is a great base for exploring Maui!
Our spacious unit has a new kitchen with granite counter tops, new tile flooring, new light fixtures, and is freshly painted.
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite counters and dishwasher, and the adjoining dining area and living room, which open onto the lanai with ocean and pool views. A large bedroom with 2 twin beds, A/C and plenty of storage, along with a bathroom and laundry complete the main floor. The 2nd floor has a loft area with a queen bed that overlooks the living area. The master bedroom has a queen bed, A/C and large ensuite with walk in shower.
Ceiling fans located in each room, an in room safe, and standing fans available. Cable television on both levels, including large 'Smart TV' in the living room, free high speed wireless internet access, a new washer/dryer, telephone including free unlimited calling to Canada and the United States. Beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach equipment located in the lanai closet for your convenience.

The condo was great. It had everything we needed for our stay. The right size for our family of four. Only disappointment, and it is minor was that we couldn't see the sunsets from our deck. (We were there in November so maybe during other times of the year you can) Also the downstairs bedroom air conditioner was loud and it wouldn't have mattered because we never had to use it at night but having two little ones that still napped made it hard to get them to sleep. Again minor. We loved the condo and would rent again.
-Location is excellent and the ocean view from the lanai is beautiful.
-Kitchen is recently updated and superbly outfitted will all kinds of utensils, pots, pans and containers.
-The tile floor, dining table, A/C and 3 LCD TVs are relatively recent.
-The beach equipment is also quite comprehensive.
-We didn't find the lack A/C in the main area to be a major issue.
-The rest of the unit badly needs updating. Virtually everything else is original or from the 1980s.
-The rear sliding door requires serious muscle-power to close and open. It needs to be replaced urgently.
-The downstairs tub open drain is an invitation to household pests, and we had one such unwelcome visitor.
-The living area had not been swept well and felt dusty when we arrived.
-The bed linen may have been washed, but looked faded and could use replacement.
Property was beautiful. Well stocked. Had everything we need. Only drawback was no air conditioning in living area. Was hot in unit even with doors open. Uncomfortable sleeping in loft without ac.
We were very happy with this condo in all respects. It worked perfectly for our family of 5 that includes 3 teenagers. The well-stocked beach closet is a great asset. There are wonderful views from the lanai, parking is very easy and convenient, and it is right across the street from a nice beach with a park. It is also a very easy drive further south, e.g., to Wailea and Big Beach (our personal favorite of the Maui beaches). Kihei in general is a great location - lots of good restaurants and shopping and easy to get from Kihei to anywhere else on the island. Thanks to Bill for sharing your condo with us!
The location couldn't be perfect. First impression was the great view of the ocean from the lanai. Was worried at first since no air conditioner in the living room but it cools down in the evening. Since we were out during the days, it was fine for us. Air conditioners in the bedrooms had to be turned off when sleeping since they were very LOUD. Evenings were cool so no need for air conditioners. Ceiling fans were enough.
The condo was very cute. It had everything! Really appreciate all the beach gears. Plenty of parking. Love grilling at night while watching the sunset. Bathrooms were a little outdated but were very clean. Only complaints would be the twin beds on the main floor. My older parents thought it wasn't very comfortable and made a lot of noise. I think kids wouldn't know the difference.
Overall, I would come back again.
Spent 2 weeks in this Hale Kamaole unit and found it a comfortable space for our family of 5. The location is perfect - quiet and convenient - and a very short walk to Kamaole Beach #3 which is one of our favourties. All basic amenities were included and would definitely rebook.
