About Carolyn and Sam Giannini
We live in Island Park 8 months of the year, and visit frequently during the winter to snow machine and enjoy the snow. Our parents and grandparents have had cabins in Island Park since the 1930s and we have been living and playing in this area for years. We love it here and hope that you do too!
Carolyn and Sam Giannini purchased this Cabin in 2018

Great Home Away From Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and functional home. It was the center of a great visit to Grand Teton and Yellowstone parks. It was our home away from home.
The cabin is very nicely furnished and decorated. Our grandchildren loved the game room more than Yellowstone. If we had ordered a custom cabin, we would have come up short. Everything we needed was in this place.
Stunning Views and Fabulous House
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elk Lake! The views are absolutely stunning and there are so many wonderful activities close by. We not only explored Yellowstone but we also had a great time exploring Idaho and Montana! Carolyn and Sam were absolute fantastic hosts and we will be visiting again sometime soon!
We were very happy with our stay at the cabin. Excellent views from the balcony. Just 30 min from Yellowstone west entrance.
We wish we had more time to spend in the cabin. We are group of three friends and families try to meet every year and we were able to create some beautiful memories. Thanks to Carolyn and Sam for renting their beautiful cabin. We would recommend to our friends.
Great location, great views, great house!!!
We had a group of 12 stay for 6 nights. The house matched our needs perfectly. It was about 10 to 15 minutes away from the West Yellowstone entrance and town of West Yellowstone. The house was quiet, roomy and offered enough space that you could all be together or apart. Beautiful views from deck, games in the lower level and an open livingroom/dining room area for nightly gatherings. Easily a 5 star rating.
Best Summer/Winter experience in one week
The house was amazing. It was perfect for our big family (6 adults, 6 kids). The perfect combination of spaces for adults and kids. The bottom floor was full of different games, entertainment and relaxation for the kids. The second floor was the perfect space for wine tasting, BBQ, and relaxation surrounded by amazing panoramic views. The lake and the back side mountains provided a majestic scenery out of the movies. The tranquility and peaceful environment is the perfect medicine for an unforgettable vacation.
We got the chance to see awesome sunrises and sunsets. On our last day we had snow and the kids build a snow man on the first day of summer. The house is well equipped with all of the amenities any family would need.
The home is very close to Yellowstone National Park and Henry’s Lake. The kids loved the place so much, they did not want to leave. Highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.
This house was great for our family vacation to Yellowstone.
The house was perfect. It was clean and provided everything we needed. Carolyn was great to work with. She responded to my questions and gave us some recommendations which were great. I would definitely stay here again. The views from the house were so beautiful. Thanks again for everything!!!
