Not what you would expect but the location was great!
Overall the property was ok. The pictures so not fairly represent the unit. The bar next to the apt is very noisy and is open until at least 1am so if you're a light sleeper good luck. The first floor is a very busy pizza shop (which you have to lock and unlock after hours to get into your hallway that leads to your apt. - there are 3-5 keys and locks that need to be open and closed every time you leave the unit and the staff is very rude), the second floor is the owners apt., the third floor is the family/kitchen area, the fourth floor is bedroom 1 and the bathroom and finally, if you climb ladder like steps you can get to the 5th floor, which is a bedroom too (ceiling heights are about 4 feet in all areas expect the center of the room). Steps, steps and more steps. Call me a naive American but it didn't occur to me that a party of 4 (all over 50) would have to climb narrow (less than 30 inches wide in most places) ladder steps to get into our unit with the luggage. The unit was not properly cleaned upon arrival the handyman took the opportunity to tell me he had to clean it and it was the best he could do, hope it was ok. Well, hair in bathroom, debris on floors, stains all over sofa, no top sheets provided only very small bath towels provided, no washcloths. Overall it was fine and we made due but for the price we paid I would have expected at least clean unit. If you are going to stay here you may want to bring: Soap, Trash bags (only 1 provided for 5 days), your own sheets, napkins or paper towels (non provided), handy wipes to clean everything properly, small luggage, and ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Again, overall it was ok but not worth the money we paid.
