Passionate about travelling and new adventures, I left my beautiful country and my beautiful city of Annecy to look for new horizons. I have put all my energy and love renovating a small apartment in Annecy centre to have a nest when I return to France. Meanwhile, for this bright apartment, I have decided to rent it. I hope that you, my guests, can feel like me and enjoy the excitement of a city centre surrounded by nature!

This a delightful apartment with everything we needed for a wonderful long-weekend vacation.
Valerie ensured that the apartment was perfectly set-up for us, answered questions we asked in advance and kindly arranged transport to and from Geneva airport. The apartment location is ideal for enjoying the old part of Annecy and for lake walks or swims. The old town markets (3x per week) are less than 5-minutes walk from the apartment and local amenities are very convenient. We would love to return one day as this (very attractively decorated) apartment has everything we like for simple, self-catering holidays. Thank-you, Valerie (and your parents) for everything.
First class apartment. Would highly recommend.
Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff for arrival and departure. Apartment was 5 Star. Would highly recommend this property.
Great flat, great location...
The flat is really well appointed and the location is excellent. Parking was initially tricky but we paid approx £10 a night to have the car in a nearby car park (La Poste). This was worth it.
Annecy is a busy and noisy city but we felt the flat on the 4th floor protected us from most of the noise- and thank goodness for the lift!!
We loved Annecy itself and found plenty of places to eat- it is very busy at weekends but quieter during the week, especially in the evenings once the coach parties disappear. A drive round the loch (I’m Scottish!) was great- especially Talloires. We enjoyed visiting the Gorges du Fier,
Montrottier Castle, Aix-les-Bains and the brilliant Secret Gardens at Vaulx. There was loads to do even without leaving Annecy.
Valerie is a warm and friendly hostess and her flat is fantastic.
Lovely, relaxing stay at Annecy
The apartment was well appointed and spotless, and the kitchen easy to use. A combination of gloriously fresh air, relaxing city and excellent large bed meant that we both slept especially well. The centre-ville location meant that the apartment was easy to get to from the railway station, ideal for visitors such as ourselves who had travelled by TGV from Paris. It was our first visit to Annecy and the place and its surroundings are a delight, particularly the clear water of the lac.
For your dejeuner, slightly off the tourist track, the Bistro du Rhone is a must. Thank you, Valerie, for the use of such an excellent holiday base.
Thank you so much for your nice message !!! I hope I will have the pleasure to welcome you again!
A very nice, well-equipped, apartment in a very central location in Annecy, very close to the railway station, the old part of town and the lake, and to shops. The only drawback for us was the difficulty finding a carpark in the evenings for our rental car - eventually we did but it took some perseverance. Great communication from Valerie who made our arrival easy.
Very modern and clean
While this property was very difficult to find if arriving by car, it was the perfect location for walking. My advice is come by train. The apartment is well equipped with the exception of a proper coffee maker (there was one of those pod things) and no hairdryer (however it was described as such). Very comfortable and homey. Super clean and great location in Annecy.
Thank you so much for your message!! concerning the coffee machine, this is a Nespresso machine and the pods are not available in all the shop markets ; I am really sorry for this inconvenient. I hope to welcome again!!! see you!!!Valérie
This apartment is ideally located in a secure and quiet shopping area close to the Old Town. The old town, commonly known as the Old Districts, is a charming medieval district. You must visit this place since it holds all the charm of Annecy Lake. You have to climb the narrow streets that will lead you to the castle, where there is a stunning view of the lake, walking along the ramparts, and visiting the old prisons. During all seasons, Annecy Lake and its shores offer of colours and an atmosphere that will delight the eye of those you love photography. Continue in the channels through the Old Quarters and go back to the Church of the Italians. Do not hesitate to pass the porches. Visit the narrow streets or push the doors of the beautiful small gardens and patios that are almost hidden! On the way, do not hesitate to try an ice cream in Chez Poustache or the famous Glaces des Alpes on Rue Perrière. Enjoy the traditional "Freti" Savoy fondue or visit the romantic and typical Chalet Restaurant by the Thiou River in the comforting and welcoming ancient chalets! For an excellent pancake, visit La Bolée in the old town! Lace up your sneakers, go for a walk by the lake in the Garden of Europe, and continue to Pont des Amours, the starting point for many boat and paddle excursions. Rent a small boat without needing a license. For the more energetic people, continue to Mont Veyrier, with small hiking trails that will take you to the top of this mountain. If you are a good walker, it only will take a 3-hour walk! Annecy has a lot of festive events and traditions: during the end of February, you will find the Venetian Carnival, a complete change of scenery! From the beginning of June, you will find the International Animation Film Festival with huge screenings in Le Pâquier Park. Bring your own food! Fête du Lac takes place in August and has wonderful fireworks. You can also participate in the traditional Descent of Alpages in September, and there are many more options. A few kilometres away, you will find everything that delights beginners as extreme experienced sporty people, such as Via Ferrata, canyoning, summer sled, paragliding, snowshoeing in winter, downhill, and cross-country skiing! The area is full of exceptional natural sites. Visit the gorges of Fier, the Plateau of Glières, and Chateau de Menthon Saint Bernard.
