First we fell in love with this beautiful, friendly village, and then we found our lovely little cottage with its quirky, sunlit rooms. Just 3 miles from central bath and all it has to offer, no. 33 is a wonderful place to stay. Built in 1751 of local bath stone but now offering the creature comforts of modern day living, the cottage is well equipped and comfortably furnished and is a delight to come home to.
There are countryside walks from the house and a regular bus service into bath if you want to leave the car at home. It is just a short stroll to either the community shop and café or the local pub both of which offer a truly warm welcome and excellent food. For the more adventurous it is possible to join the kennett and avon canal towpath nearby and walk into the centre of bath.
Whether you come to our cottage to enjoy the many cultural delights of the city of bath and its fabulous shops or to relax and explore the gorgeous cotswold countryside you will understand why we fell in love with bathford and no 33.
