Third floor with cathedral ceiling and clerestory windows. Hot tub and sauna located on the first floor. Fully equipped kitchen, new flat top electric stove, 3 TVs, DVD, iPod dock, and deck with view of Mt. Baldy. Gas fireplace. Full size front load w/d.
Master suite includes full bath and queen bed. Second bedroom also has queen bed. No sleeper sofa. Second bathroom is across the hall from 2nd bedroom. 3 TVs, wireless, gas grill, gas fireplace.

Owner lives in town for any assistance during stay.

Why David Blank chose Breckenridge
Peak 8 access. Last shuttle bus stop on the way to base area. 5 minute ride. Bus arrives every 10-15 minutes 8AM-6 PM. Town bus runs every 1/2 hour 6 AM-11 PM. Hot tub in same building. Parking included.
What makes this Condo unique
Condo is decorated with mining relics from surrounding mountains including 5 foot and 2 foot diameter pulley wheels used for hauling sluce carts. Also original doors from mine cabins. Cathedral ceilings with clearstory windows for added natural light.

Great location, well stocked condo.
Overall, we really enjoyed the condo. The best feature is the location. The condo itself is a little outdated, but we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay greatly.
Thanks Ryan; The location and the fact that the building only has 6 condos compared to other Gold Camp II buildings with 14 units is a nice quiet feature along with spacious feeling provided by the cathedral ceiling. The floor plan is also larger by 100 square feet to other Gold Camp II condos.
The design motif has a mining accent to compliment the Breckenridge history of the gold and silver mining days.
New w/d and rustic bedroom furniture, gas fireplace, and mining relics add to the ambiance.
The property met our needs. The furnishings and décor are somewhat dated, the unit was comfortable
My main issue was with the unit owner’s booking practices. I visited Breckenridge with an old college friend who happens to be black. Less than one week before the owner accepted my reservation request on VRBO he denied my friends identical request claiming the dates had become unavailable. My friend is a business owner and has rented properties in Breck frequently prior to this episode. Having said that, his race would have been easily ascertained by the unit owner with a quick Facebook search. We can’t imagine any other reason why his reservation request would have been denied.
Mark; First of all I do not have a Facebook account and have never logged onto Facebook . Second of all your claim is ludicrous. I do not discriminate in any way, shape, or form. My renter arriving February 8 from Australia, a repeat customer not reserved through Home Away, changed her reservation due to travel plans by one night between you and your traveling companion's requests for accommodations which made your requested time available.
If you are going to charge discrimination you should at least check the facts before doing so.
I can provide you with 30 years of rental history that debunks our insinuation.

Great place to stay! Close to slopes with a bus stop out front
The condo is within minutes of Peak 8 at Breckenridge Mountain. The owner was very helpful and accomidative. It was very easy to get to both the mountain and downtown using the black route free ride buses. The condo is on the third story of the building but that means nobody being noisy upstairs. We had a great time and would recommend anybody to stay here!
Awesome Resort; Great Condo
This was my first time in Colorado and a first-first for a west coast Ski/Boarding trip. Myself and several friends rented this condo due to its convenience and distance to the mountain. The condo space was big enough to accommodate four grown men and our snow gear; two of us slept in the master bedroom, one slept in the guest bedroom and the last male slept in the living room on the pull-out couch.
The owner was VERY easy to communicate with and if we had an issue, he would address it promptly although the only issue we had was the parking permit. Dave pretty much left us and let us be to explore the mountain/scene town below. As a first timer at Breckenridge, we spent more time riding around the slopes and traveling to the town below. If you were planning to head into the village for a few drinks, the shuttle stop is literally right outside the condo; all you had to do was walk down the stairs and head a few hundred feet to the stop.

Walking up three levels of stairs; as a person from the east coast, we're not use to the altitude change. Haha, took us a day to get accommodated but those stairs after a long day of riding were brutal.
A wonderful place to stay
My family and I rented this wonderful condo for 6 months this year. It is a spacious and homely space and was a wonderful home for us while we settled into life here in Colorado. The owner Dave is a great guy who will constantly strive to make your stay more comfortable. As a top floor unit, it's quite and has lovely views and with the fireplace is a wonderful place to relax in as the snow falls outside. There is a bus stop right at your door step and ski access on peak 8 800m away, all in all it is a wonderful spacious condo to use as a home base as you explore Breckenridge.

. Cancellations Policy: Full refund for cancellation one month in advance of arrival. 1/2 refund 2 weeks in advance of arrival. Full refund at anytime before arrival if condo is re rented. Owner will work with renter to find acceptable resolution with liberal refund policy.
Deposit of 1/2 total due upon confirmation. Balance due upon arrival. Personal checks or money orders are preferred to keep costs down and enable me to offer discounts. Pay Pal is also accepted with payment terms. Credit cards are not accepted for security reasons. I live in Breckenridge and will arrange to check you in upon arrival. Full calendar means all 3 condos full. Open days show vacancy.
