We fell in love with this little piece of paradise the first time we saw it, It is a cozy, quiet and private condo nestled among beautiful tropical flowers and trees surrounded by the ocean, mountains and waterfalls. It is decorated in lovely tropical colors with all the conveniences of home.
First of all - this was the best place we have ever stayed!!!! The views, the location, the condo itself absolutely perfect. We don't know how to thank you enough for sharing this.
Thank you again for a most memorable first trip to Hawaii that we will cherish forever.

This was our 4th trip to Kauai, with the last 3 trips staying in Princeville!
When we reflect back on our stay in this condo, we have only really great things to say!
This corner unit provides a lot of privacy & sits overlooking a jungle-like ravine, followed by a view of the ocean. The ravine provided a lovely orchestra of birdsongs that was amazing. While relaxing on the lanai we watched gorgeous Albatross soaring regularly from this vantage point. A bonus was to also see them waddling around the nearby golf course, tending to their young. The property sits on a bluff over the ocean, where we were able to get some spectacular sunrise pictures, watch for rainbows, and spouting whales.
The condo is tastefully furnished, with a well stocked kitchen, and a really comfortable bed. There are lots of windows; all screened & providing a sea breeze at all times. There are overhead fans in every room, if you need them.
The condo building is situated at the end of a long drive, so there is no traffic passing by & no streets nearby. So quiet & perfect!
We prepared most of our dinners in the condo, & then off for a beach walk & sunset photos. The evenings were capped off with local entertainment at Tahiti Nui in Hanalei, or St. Regis Lounge or Happy Talk Lounge in Princeville. Bonus was free valet parking at the latter two.
Our most enjoyable dining experience was with Kauai Ono. A pop up outdoor gourmet food truck/restaurant of sorts, & was located on the Princeville ranch. The 5 course meal can be booked online before arriving in Kauai.
We highly recommend a Kauai vacation and would definitely love to stay at this condo again.
This SeaLodge condo was perfect for our 2 person vacation. It has beautiful views from every window, it's close to the association's pool, and its completely furnished (including coolers, chairs, towels, etc to take to the beach!) It's not walking distance to the beach so we would recommend having a rental car if you plan to stay here. If you do have a rental car, it is a short drive to many of the awesome north shore attractions - NaPali Coast, Hanalei Bay, Queens bath, and it has a grocery store right around the corner.
We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay on Kauai's north shore. The owner was very easy to work with and went above and beyond to recommend various things to do and resources to watch the weather (there were tropical storms in the forecast during our stay).
To be honest, I was a bit suspicious as to what we would find but while the outside of the building is a bit dated, the inside was great.
Layout was simple, but everything we needed and well presented. The bed is comfy and we both slept well. The views from the lanai were awesome and simply stunning from the clifftop.
The beach is a 5 minutes walk which we really enjoyed. Rain meant the track was really slippery to the beach the first day, so we turned back but by the next day it had dried out and we easily made it down to the beach and timed it just right to have it all to ourselves.
The ocean breeze meant the apartment kept cool and we didn't miss or need air conditioning at all. The kitchen is well stocked with what we needed for cooking, etc. The condo was clean and well presented and stocked with everything we needed including snorkeling gear, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and extra fans (which we didn't use as the ceiling fans and breeze were enough). Parking was easy. Other guests were all very friendly.
We had one night where there was a party across the valley and we shut the windows all up, but even that was all quiet by 10pm. The rest of the time it was quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind after busy days snorkling and out exploring.
Leila, the owner was excellent to deal with with prompt communication and information. It was the perfect option for us as we don't like resorts. It's a great place to base yourself from to explore the eastern and northern parts of the island.
Overall a great stay and we'd happily stay there again.
We loved this place.
First it was in a great location in Princeville with Queen's Bath, Hideaway Beach, and Sea Lodge Beach all within jogging or walking distance (about 2 miles). A quick walk to the front of Sea Lodge will provide excellent sunset views. Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, and the Kalalau Trail are all a quick drive away. The views from the lanai were awesome as you can see both the ocean and mountains. Getting to the southern and western parts of Kauai was a bit of a drive, but frankly the North Shore is far more beautiful and has better beaches and snorkeling.
The owner was excellent with communication and we were very pleased with how clean the condo was when we arrived. B-12 was stocked with everything we needed including washer/dryer, snorkeling gear, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, utensils, oven, and fans. We would definitely stay here again and can't believe anyone would stay at a resort.
We just spent two weeks at this wonderful, cozy condo. There are views from every room, either mountains or ocean. The lanai looks over mountains and ocean and we were able to watch whales from there, as well as several rainbows hanging over the ocean or mountains. The condo is cozy and well appointed (including a washer and dryer), with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was perfect for two people, and the addition of mirrors on some of the walls makes it feel as if you are surrounded by ocean or mountains, just spectacular. The kitchen contained everything we needed, and we appreciated that everything was well stocked. The owner, Leila, was delightful to deal with - very quick to respond to questions, and all directions were clear and complete. The condo is located in Princeville, a golfing resort with several trails to walk along. It is situated near the head of a short (and somewhat steep) trail to Sealodge beach, a secluded cove which is a beautiful place to sit on a rock and watch the waves. We were able to walk to the Queen's Bath, as well as the Princeville shopping center, which has several restaurants and food places as well as a grocery store. Nearby Hanalei has shops, and you can go kayaking on the beautiful Hanalei river. The condo is also well situated for a number of different beaches and trail hikes and, with our car, we were able to explore the whole island. We would definitely come back here.
Views from b-12 were really exceptional. What we liked was the GREAT views of the mountains AND good views of the ocean. We had an excellent view of the big mountain--wettest place on earth. Fun to watch the clouds come and go over its top. We really loved the way the lush mountains looked in the sun and varied with the time of day. You can get a better sea view from some other units but this one is good---about 60 degrees of sea view from your lanai and a very nice sea view from the kitchen. The unit is very private--we never drew the drapes. We VERY heartily recommend getting an upstairs unit with really good mountain views as well as some sea views. The unit is clean and very nicely furnished with tasteful and comfortable island furniture and neat island print fabrics. Furniture appears new and there are new maple floors. LOTS of windows, and they all open so you can have the breezes flowing through the unit all the time. A VERY nice touch is that there is a full wall of mirrors in the living room so you think the views are ALL around you. Kitchen is good and well stocked. Bathroom is small but adequate. Excellent shower. Very nice owner Leila. Good rental price. We will absolutely go back to this unit. THINGS TO DO: Lots of great beaches. We liked Lumahai. Ke'e and Tunnels are nice but crowded and it is hard to park there. The Tiki Bar in the Princeville Center is really fun--Mike is great. We also had an excellent lunch there. The Lighthouse and bird sanctuary are nearby-very interesting--volunteers are there to tell you about things and a good video running in the gift shop. There is a bistro on the way to the lighthouse in that has a great saimen bowls. Hanalei for browsing. Sit out on the bluff in front of the condos and watch and listen to the sea. Great place for a glass of wine (although our lanai was a great place for a glass of wine too!!!) We did the trek to the beach below the condo--a bit tough but well worth it,,,probably slippery when wet. Be careful. The North shore is very peaceful and we just hung out on beaches (we tried to see them all) and on our lanai. Lots of lovely vistas from the roads. Nice slow pace. Very relaxing. The Princeville Center has a very well stocked grocery store, which is handy. WiFi works. Parking is good. Very quiet--oh perhaps with the exception of the roosters, but they are really fun and add to the character. They are EVERYWHERE on the island.
