Family Friendly Condo for Summer Exploring or Winter Skiing!

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,400 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

3-Bedroom, 2-Bath Condo (Sleeps 6) convenient to everything in Teton Valley

Located on the quiet — and beautiful! — side of the Tetons, this 2006-built first-floor condo (end unit) is furnished for special family times together.

Set up for comfortable living with cozy flannel sheets, comfy furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. The overall look is a wildlife-themed Western motif, including a large Aspen queen-size log bed in the master bedroom and a rustic 'bunkhouse' feel to the kid-friendly bedroom (twin over full log bunkbeds). The 3rd bedroom has an iron-frame bed (queen), spacious closet and 20-inch TV/DVD/VCR.

The sun-filled living room features a warm suede couch (pulls out into queen sleeper), love seat, 42-inch plasma TV and VCR/DVD, Dish satellite and opens onto a deck with Big Hole Mountain views. There are also beautiful Teton views outside (not visible from inside). The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms also open to their own deck. There's also a detached garage where you'll find a gas BBQ grill, plus a couple bikes, tubes & sleds you're free to use.

This is a world-class ski destination with Grand Targhee a short 13 miles away and Jackson Hole an easy trip over the pass. There are groomed cross-country trails nearby, as well as a great rental shop (Peaked Sports) and snowmobile outfitter (Teton Valley Adventures) nearby.

In summer, it's hard to beat the access to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as some of the world's best fly fishing on Henry's Fork of the Snake River. The nearby ranger station can point you in the direction of awesome hiking and biking, and plenty of horseback operations can put you in the saddle. Several golf courses are nearby as well. The kids can ride the bikes to the nearby skateboard park. And everyone will enjoy a movie at "The Spud," an old-timey drive-in theater. We'll be happy to help you plan a wonderful vacation!

About Steve & Jackie Smith

We're Steve, Jackie, Trey & CJ Smith. We live in Blue Ridge, GA, but love to travel out West whenever we get the chance. We run our own graphic design, copywriting and marketing business in North Georgia while our two boys attend college a few hours away.

Steve & Jackie Smith purchased this condo in 2006

Why Steve & Jackie Smith chose Teton Valley

We LOVE the wild West! We traveled to the Jackson Hole area several times and fell in love with everything about the area. We chose Driggs because it was smaller and less crowded than Jackson Hole, but still close to everything. We also love skiing at Grand Targhee because it's very family friendly.

What makes this condo unique

Driggs is a small but friendly town. It's close to everything. We bought the condo when it was being built in 2006, so we're the only owners. We decorated it with comfort in mind to feel like home -- for us and for you! At 1 mile from town, it's close to shopping, dining and activities.

Great Skiing Area

  • 5 of 5

This condo was perfect in every way. Plenty of room, homey atmosphere, clean and all technology worked! I would recommend this to any of my friends or family. Skiing conditons were great. Couldn't have asked for better snow. We would definitely get this condo again.

Great location and everything we needed!!

  • 5 of 5

This condo is one of those places I would love to keep a secret so it's not booked up for our next trip! Driggs is the cutest town!! The condo is in a nice area with views on the tetons. It was very quite. The condo had everything we needed and more! There are plenty of hooks to hang towels and wet clothes. The master bedroom is at the other of the condo so we had privacy once the kids went to bed. It exceeded our expectations!! The drive into Jackson was about 40 minutes but even my 5 yr old was so busy looking at the scenery he didn't notice. We saw a moose on the side of The Pass between Driggs and Jackson. It is about 1hr 45 min. to the west entrance of Yellowstone, so we made a day trip in. Overall, a great, clean, beautiful place to stay!!!

Beautiful, well accommodated condo

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful experience, found the condo to be very "homey" and easily settled into. Great owners, clean, location great for Tetons, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole. I just don't know what else to say that will describe that is was just a perfect choice. The pictures in the listing do not show how wonderful it really is. Photos never really can capture a moment, can they? Nevertheless, I felt like I had made a wonderful decision, the town is charming and people overall kind and treat tourists well.

(My only critiques are of the food options in the town and not with the condo...if you are going to stay in this town, I highly recommend buying groceries and cooking in the condo because there is literally only 1 good restaurant in town, all the others are terrible food for anyone with actual taste buds that enjoys actual food. The name of that restaurant is Three Peaks Dinner Table, an affordable option with organic spinach salads, bison burgers, vegetarian lasagna, and more...great food! )

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review, Regina! So glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo. We try to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests -- just like we'd want it! Sorry to hear about the lack of dining choices. We haven't been there in a while, but don't remember not enjoying most of the restaurants in town. We'll be there next week and will have to try them all again just to see! :)

It was more than I expected.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time and I loved the gas grill and the movies. I liked how each bedroom had it's own thermostat and outside exit door.

I would love to go back next year with more family and rent 2 units.....this one for me!

Thank You,

Owner's Response: Hey Mike! Glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo. While it's only about 1400 sf, the extra doors and windows make it feel larger and gives everyone their own space. We hope to have you back soon! Steve & Jackie

Close to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks, and 13 miles to Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Hiking, fly fishing, rafting, golfing and horseback riding nearby. It's not uncommon to see moose, as well as deer, elk, buffalo and bears nearby. Lots to do and see! Bring a camera!

This is a great, central location in the Teton Valley area. The Wyoming border is only minutes away, and Jackson Hole a short 45-minute drive over the beautiful Teton Pass. Driggs is located on the quieter, western side of the Tetons. The town is small and quaint, but has plenty of amenities and friendly folks.

The rental is located in a small condo development next door to the new Huntsman Springs resort. It's located only about 1 mile from the center of town. The condo itself is a bottom floor unit with easy access and an obstructed view of the Big Hole Mountains to the west. It's a quiet corner unit that gets lots of sunshine in the windows!
