Why Aileen Ortega chose Gatlinburg
We love to come to the mountains because of what it has to offer for the whole family. We loved it so much that we bought our very first cabin or 2nd home and have enjoyed it since.

Cute little cabin
The cabin was very quaint. Several things were broken and damaged in the cabin and the owner was very difficult to get in contact with but all of the essentials were there and in good shape
Pleasing mountain retreat
We arrived a little early before the cleaners had shown up so we went into town to shop for a while. We enjoyed every moment we stayed in the cabin. It was nice to have the washer/ dryer! Would definitely stay again. Thanks
Awesome place to be with the family my kids loved the downstairs where the pool table was and my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub!! There are 7 of us and it was plenty of room!!
Better than expected after reading mixed reviews.
This is s small cute cabin with the basics. I found it to be an overall great value but tight for 7. I rented this cabin for a bachelorette party. Overall the place was clean but not white glove clean. In other words for the 85.00 cleaning fee it could have been cleaner. The ceiling fans were dirty and some of the linens smelled like dog. Overall it was fine. We had a great stay and would stay again. The reason for the 4 star was because the futon in the loft was so uncomfortable 2 of the girls slept on the floor, and the 2nd futon was in the basement which was not accessible from inside the cabin. In order to get in the basement room you had to go outside and descend a large flight of stairs to enter. The hot tub was nice and clean. We did have a bear encounter which was scary so be careful because it was on the deck and took off running in the opposite direction after is saw us in the hot tub, thank goodness. We were terrified. There is a blender and we would have found that information helpful ahead of time. The kichen is small but manageable. It would not be ideal for preparing large meals. Overall I recommend a stay here. The cabin is not new or luxury but has what you need. Could use an update on the furniture and televisons but not should not be a deal breaker. There is wifi access but the password is ridiculously long. It takes some patience entering it . LOL We would do this stay again. Also bring towels if you have more than 4 in your party.
OMG where do I start. Let's see. We were suppose to check in at 3pm but we took our time and didn't arrive till about 6:30. We pull up and there was a car there, so I walk into the cabin to find the cleaning crew 1 laid out on the couch with his shoes on it, 1 laid out across the chair and the worst 1 laid up in the loft on the bed. Then we go up to the loft and the toilet doesn't work. So we decide to check everything else out. There was no ice maker just 3 ice tray's The ceiling fan in the main floor bedroom didn't work There was no door handle on the inside of the front door, The washing machine doesn't spin. The kitchen table had leafs that let down that was so nasty that they stuck. The futon in the loft was broken and couldn't be slept on. The recliner was broke, The rail going to the basement was almost falling off. The 2 sleeper sofa had nasty sheets and rat dropping folded up in them. The TV in the basement did't work. If this cabin was cleaned properly and took care of it would be a really cute cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful. When I messaged the owner all she had to say was Thanks for the feed back. I think she should of been a little more upset about it. I have OCD and spent my first night cleaning when I should of been relaxing.
Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort off of Ski Mountain Road, Aquarium, Smoky Mountain National Park, Cades Cove, Minutes from Dollywood & Pigeon Forge. Near Outlet stores, Boating on Douglas Lake 1/2 hour away. Several Golf Courses close by. Very hot this time of the year, but a little cooler in the mountains. Cooler in fall.
