About Nadine Brooke
The Brooke Family Jim, Nadine, Jake & Ryan
Nadine Brooke purchased this House in 1997
Why Nadine Brooke chose Liberty Grove
Our family has vacationed in this area since 1980 and found Ellison Bay to be one of the best areas in Door County. We love the outdoors and this location allows us to bike, hike, kayak, fish and enjoy local restaurants! Every year we find something new to enjoy. This year we discovered paddle boarding!
What makes this House unique
Our home is privately located and we really enjoy the wooded setting. The yard and woods offers a great place for kids (and adults) to play and relax! We have done many upgrades to the house to make it a comfortable, inviting place to stay. We have guests that have been coming back each year for the last 15 years!

Delightful
Charming quiet DC retreat. Enjoyed it very much!!!
Wonderful, brief long weekend stay
Enjoyed a very clean, easily located, in the center of outdoor activities in upper Door County home. The house was "just as advertised" and awaiting our arrival. Everything you could want or need was furnished. The house met all our needs although during the fall colors we weren't there often, but not due to the house, just taking in the breath taking outdoors and all this area has to offer. A great area to bike, hike, relax and take in the atmosphere of the area. Enjoyed the fish boil at the "Old Post Office" a must due as well as cannot say enough above the Trolley Ride - we went on the lighthouse tour and it was outstanding. John our driver was most knowledgeable and also great personality. He did not steer us wrong for all the activities and food places to part-take in. Enjoyed Swedish Pancakes in Sisters Bay - Al Johnson's Swedish Pancake house.
Can't wait to visit the area...
Perfect for our family!
Brooke Haven was a perfect haven for our long family weekend. With 4 teens, it can be hard to find activities and accommodations that suit everyone. Brooke Haven came pretty close.
The house had lots of room with reminders of Grandma's house -- very comfortable. Not fancy, not rustic or camping. Perfect. We liked the location -- close to shopping, state parks, ferry, and lots of good restaurants. The two bikes were used quite a bit! Just writing this review makes me want to go back. Communication with the owner was very good. Thanks for sharing your home!
Brooke Haven
Our family found Brooke Haven after the home we used to rent for 25 years in Ellison Bay went up for sale. We were very glad to have located Brooke Haven through the web site.. The home is beautifully decorated with hardwood floors. It seemed as if every member of our family was able to have their own area to get away between the family room, living room, 3 season porch, and lovely yard. Our sons especially enjoyed the back yard for games of bags, and the bikes were used almost daily. Our 1 and a half year old grandson even started to say "home" when we would pull into the driveway.
My husband and I located a new beach while we were at Brooke Haven. Our sons knew of it, but my husband and I couldn't believe after all these years we would discover a new beach. It's the Liberty Grove town beach. Start out at Brooke Haven and turn left at the Pioneer store. Keep going straight to the T. Turn left at the T and go a block or so where you turn right into the beach. The beach is all sand, and shallow for a long way out, There is a nice shaded area, and great for all ages.
Our favorite restaurants are The Viking in Ellison Bay, and The Ice Cream Factory in Sister Bay.
We do higfhly recommend staying at Brooke Haven.

Brooke Haven is definitely a haven. My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. Thank you. We had so much room - I definitely can see the house big enough for a larger family. The house had everything we needed -- the kitchen was complete, the showers were hot, the beds were comfortable ... the house had all the amenities we needed for a perfect vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brooke Haven! All of the communication ahead of time was thorough and prompt. It was so comfortable and roomy enough for three couples and our three toddlers. The guys especially liked the ping pong table. I found this to be the most reasonable price in the area for the type of house, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks!
