Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.
This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.
We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.

The theater has its own tv tuner,120 channels of satellite tv, This theater is very unique as you can view the mountains and wildlife while you are watching movies or TV!
Xbox 360 with controllers and games. Four rock band wireless guitars (including the Fender Mustang) with wireless drum set and key board.
Xbox 360 Kinect with games on a separate X-box console so you don't have to change connections.
We have about twenty video game titles at this time with all the popular rock band, Guitar hero, Halo,Kinect, and Wii games. Ask for a list.

Why Gary Peak chose Estes Park
It's all about the view! This area of the Rockies is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and one of the few very beautiful locations that has year-round activities. The location and convenience are a nice bonus, but the views were the main consideration in choosing this property.Every room, every window in this house has a great view. We looked for years at Estes Park and Grand lake for a second home that would be an investment and eventually a retirement home for us. We saw lots of properties with no nice view, or tiny windows, or neighbors too close,too small,or too 'inconvenient' to get to. This home is in a perfect, very quiet spot. Our neighbors are few, they are not close by, and do not spoil the view. Getting to the Park, the restaurants, and the shopping are easy from this location. On Summer weekends when the town is jammed with tourists, it is easy to bypass the traffic by using Peak View and Riverside drive. We love to go hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, and access to the park is quick and easy from this location. The drive to the Park from our property does not go through town and traffic is never an issue even on Summer weekends.
What makes this House unique
We have gone a bit overboard with guest amenities. No vacation home has more entertainment options. The home theater with video games and movies will occupy the kids down stairs while the adults enjoy the view and 50 inch plasma tv upstairs.

Perfect for group in Estes Park
This home was perfect for my group of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and baby. Mr. Peak was informative and helpful from the time of booking to our arrival- always quick to answer questions and provided us with lots of information prior to the trip for easy planning. The home was stocked with quick bites and plenty of activities for the group. The home is located a short drive from the town of Estes Park and the National Park. As out of towners, we had no issue finding where we needed to go. The home was also very private and had great views. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin. Absolutely enhanced our family vacation
The property was absolutely beautiful and well stocked. There is a Safeway 12 min away for any needs. The property owner is knowledgeable of the area and was willing to do anything to try and help you. We wanted to go sledding and he sent us to a wonderful place. The kids had so much fun playing around the cabin. The cabin was just wonderful and was perfect for our family vacation.

Gary was a wonderful host who kept in constant contact, went well above and beyond what was expected, and shared his wonderful recommendations of what to do in Estes Park.

Great house with everything you could need/want for some time away. Gary made it easy to travel with little ones, by providing everything we could need at the house.
This home is 2.9 miles from the center of Estes Park. Music, Art and festivals along with great shopping and dining are minutes away. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is 2.5 miles with its Hiking, wildlife, and sight seeing.
Mary's lake shore is about 1200 feet away. Mary's Lake Campground is about 2500 feet, and Mary's Lake Lodge about a mile by car around the south side of the lake. Mary's Lake Lodge has excellent dining.
We are on over an acre in an area where most properties are an acre or more. Our neighbors are mostly hidden from view by the trees and rock outcroppings.
It is very private, but not remote.
Bureau of Land Management public land is four hundred feet from our driveway. You can hike and explore for miles on Rams Horn Mountain and Giant Track Mountain.
Estes Park's 18 hole Golf course clubhouse is three miles from our driveway. The nine hole course is about four and a half miles away.

12 Guests is the maximum allowed by my license with the town of Estes Park. This is a firm number with the town, and infants count in that number. The town allows a maximum of 4 cars parked at the property. Snow removal is contracted November through April. 4wd is not necessary
