Against the beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, lies the brand new Hali’i Kai Ocean Club Residences, at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. This property is located on the majestic Kohala Gold Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, just a short 20 minute drive north of the Kona International Airport and the resort town of Kailua-Kona.

This luxury complex is located on the 14th fairway of the resort's Beach golf course. Enjoy views of Mauna Kea, the Pacific Ocean, Kohala Mountains, golf courses, lava fields, and swaying palm trees. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront villa is located on the ground level of building 14 (villa #14E). The bed set-up is King (master), Queen (2nd), Twins third (can be converted into a king). Enjoy the gracious and open gourmet kitchen, which overlooks a spacious great room - the perfect setup for entertaining. The private lanai with an outdoor bar offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The villa has 1,403 sq.ft. of living area and 142 sq. ft. of lanai, totaling 1,545 sq. ft. This villa sleeps 6.

We have just added a private BBQ (electric) on our lanai. Come and enjoy!

This is a true resort in every sense of the word. One can walk to the Hilton's well known Kohala Spa and swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin encounter, dine at one of the 6 restaurants, sun bathe on the white sand beaches of Anaeho'omalu Bay or snorkel with the turtles, kayak over the waves or take a sunset cruise. Or, take a break from the sun and take the trolley down to the Kings' Shops and enjoy the variety of stores and restaurants, including famous Roy��s and Merriman’s Café. The heliport is within a 5 minute drive if you want to see the island by air.

This three bedroom, three bath home will accommodate up to six people comfortably. Our home features a king-size bed in the master suite and queen size beds in the guest suites.

An exceptional view awaits you from our lanai, including volcanoes, the golf course, swaying palms, white water waves, and the ocean sunsets. Also in the winter and spring months, whale watching is right off the lanai and Ocean Club.

As a valued guest, you will have full access to the private Ocean Club and all of it's amenities featuring a meandering Oceanfront lagoon style pool that will entices you and where comfortable lounge chairs await you, to literally float your cares away. The ocean club also has a relaxing spa with sandy bottom, and children�������s wading pool. Get in your work out at the oceanfront fitness cabana, with it's unobstructed 180 degree view of the blue ocean and the horizon. The clubhouse Café serves lunch several days a week, or enjoy your own seaside barbecue with your family and new friends, dine in the covered pavilion. Throughout much of the year you can also enjoy all of the Hilton’s amenities for a nominal daily fee.

WOW - what a site for whale watching from your personal walk out lanai!

We had the opportunity to recently spend 2 weeks in January 2011 at the Hali'i Kai complex. The unit is undoubtedly THE BEST LOCATION in the Hali'i Kai complex. Upon our Sunday afternoon arrival, we walked out onto the beautiful lanai and were immediately greeted by an extremely large humpback whale just 20 yards right off the shore. It couldn't have been planned any better! Combined with the large waves crashing on the lava rocks, we immediately knew we had found the ideal spot for our most recent visit to the Waikoloa area. We ate our breakfast on the lanai every morning and enjoyed a nonstop show of whale activities, and ocean scenes well exceeding our expectations. The unit is on the northwest corner of the building, at a walk out level. This provides tremendous sunshine throughout the day, as well as a ringside seat for spectacular sunsets from your own lanai. Unexpectedly, shortly after our arrival the unit owner Linda (who lives locally), dropped by to greet us and extended her aloha with several fresh papayas for our enjoyment. It doesn't get much better than that. The 3 bedroom unit is in excellent shape - with the latest appliances, flat screen TVs and everything else you need. The kitchen / island bar was perfect for cooking, entertaining and gathering around during our stay. We look forward to returning and highly recommend staying at Hali'i Kai.. Mahalo Linda........
