When you wake up in the morning, look out the living room window and check the conditions on the hill! A great view but get ready to ski...

Ask about availability of discount adult downhill ski tickets! Typical discounts are 40+% off the Tremblant daily rate!

You are less than 1 km to the hill; be there in time for First Tracks! Travel to the hill on the bus that stops just a moment's walk from our condo front door or drive 2-minutes to the downhill parking. The village is a 12-15 min walk.

Into Cross-Country skiing? The Jack Rabbit trail starts just steps from the condo's main entrance!

We also offer discount adult ski lift tickets! Good for any day of the season and approx. 40% off the Tremblant rate.

Spring, Summer, Fall:


It's a 10 second walk to the private, heated pool(*); a 15 second walk to the games room with a pool table and a ping-pong table; a 2 minute stroll to the supervised private beach with complementary canoes, kayaks and peddle boats and; only 30 seconds to the private tennis courts! All included.

Relax in the condo with all the luxuries of home. Didn't bring the kids? Snuggle by the fireplace in winter or enjoy a glass of wine on the patio.

(*) Pool is seasonal, typically opening at the end of May and closing the beginning of Sept.

Our Pinoteau home is spacious, has a fully-equipped kitchen, in-suite laundry, a queen master bed (Memory-foam), a Queen pull-out sofa bed, free wireless internet, free long-distance within North America, an iPod (or mp3) docking station, a book exchange, a PlayStation 3 (PS3) with games, and more!

If you're looking for a relaxing evening, we have a movie collection with over 140 movies, and free Netflix movie rentals to watch on the 42' HDTV or the 27' HDTV in the bedroom. Free Wifi.

We strive to offer the best value at Mont Tremblant for our type of property. If you're interested but you have found our rates are not competitive, please contact us! We also offer discounts for longer stays.


Rental Terms & Cancellation Policy


Check in time: 16:00 (4 pm)

Check out time: 11:00 (11 am)

Saturday check-in or check-out by prearrangement ONLY.

To book the condo, we ask for a 25% deposit at the time of booking with balance four weeks before your arrival. A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. For cancellations made thirty days or more prior to your arrival date we will refund your full amount less $100. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay made less than thirty days from your arrival date forfeit the full amount; however, if we are able to re-book the condo, we will refund the full amount of the rebooked days less 10% of the booking total or $100, whichever is greater.

Our condo is also our home away from home and we take great pride in it. You agree to notify us if anything gets soiled, broken or damaged and, other than normal wear and tear, you will be responsible for any costs incurred.

You agree to observe the requirements in the check-in/check-out list that will be provided to you. You agree to any additional cleaning costs if the check-out list is not completed.

Absolutely no smoking at the condo. NO Pets.

Guests 21 and under must be accompanied by parents or legal guardian.

Ski lift tickets must be paid for in full for us to place an order. They are non-refundable after purchase but they are good for any day of the ski season without restrictions. If you have extra tickets left after your visit, Chris & I do our very best to sell them for you at cost and refund for unused tickets; however, we can’t guarantee that we’ll always be successful at re-selling the tickets. It’s always best to order only as many tickets as you’ll be able to use.


A note to our previous & future guests:

We are budget minded travelers ourselves and we like to provide some of the most cost-effective yet high-quality accommodation at Tremblant! Having said that, you may have noticed that our rates have increased this year for guests who choose to book using VRBO & HomeAway platforms. We do apologize for this but it is due to the ever increasing charges by VRBO and HomeAway. We do not receive even a penny of these increases -- it goes to VRBO and HomeAway in its entirety.

Having said that, we will work with you any way that we can to keep costs down! If you find a better deal for a property similar to ours, please bring it to our attention and we'll definitely consider meeting or beating their rates. For repeat guests, we're often open to creative solutions to help keep costs down (for example, we have a few guests who we have built up great trust with and they do the cleaning themselves to save the cleaning fee).

We are: Peter Luscher & Christine Kelly

Christine & Peter both live in Ottawa and are both seasoned World Travelers. We are recently retired!

Chris was a Flight Dynamics expert who kept Canada's telecommunication satellites in-orbit and on-station.

Peter worked in the embedded computing industry as a programmer, project manager, & general go-to technical resource.

Peter likes to dabble in high-tech and plays around with developing web functions and sites (like for our StayAtTremblant condo rentals and our personal travel site) and home automation.

We love to travel and bicycle and ski (downhill & XC).

Why Peter Luscher chose Mont-Tremblant

The Pinoteau resort is a truly unique location at Tremblant being situated only a short 15 min walk to the village and with prime beachfront on Lac Tremblant.

We love that we can pop out our back door and hop into the pool in the summer or head down to our beach and grab a canoe for a paddle on the lake -- or just sit and soak up the sun.

Since we love bicycling, the fact that the bike trail passes right by our front door is a bonus. We can take the path to the P'tit Train Du Nord (Parc Linear) and bicycle for a hundred Km in each direction if we want.

In addition to downhill skiing, we love to head out into the woods for a day of XC. From our front door, we hop on the Jack Rabbit trail and can access the Domain Saint Bernard tail network.

For us, the Pinoteau was the perfect complement to our Algonquin condo that we'd purchased a few years earlier. The Algonquin is on the hill and a fantastic ski-in/out destination -- but the Pinoteau is everything else and more.

A relaxing destination with on-site activities, great staff, great neighbors, and access to everything that the greater Tremblant area has to offer.

What makes this condo unique

You'll love the wood-burning fireplace in the living room and all of the included entertainment amenities for those apre-ski evenings.

The location really can't be beat. A seasonal (late May to early September) pool just outside your door, skiing just moments away, far enough from the pedestrian village to offer you some "getaway" but close enough to be there in 15 minutes if you're looking to shop or eat or party!

Perfect fit

We had a great ski weekend at Peter's Pinoteau condo. We were a family of 4 with an 11 and 13 year old. The fold out couch was perfect for the kids. The condo is about 1Km from Parking area P2 and about 3 Km from Daniel LaChance a great place for quality ski rentals. We cooked in for most of our meals, and the kitchen was well equipped. No pool for the kids, but we did use the Aqua Sport Pool at the village one evening ($49+Tax for the family). Internet, Cable TV, and Netflix for entertaining the kids, all included.

Great Stay at 138 Pinoteau, Mont Tremblant

We were very impressed with the location of the condo, only minutes away from the village by car and about 10 minutes from the town of Mont Tremblant. The condo itself was perfect with all the comforts of home and a fireplace which topped it off for us. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owners Peter and Christine were so helpful when planning this trip and and during as well. Customer Service was a 10 out of 10! The Outlet Mall in Mont Tremblant offered super deals. The view of the Mountain and the area was so memorable. We loved our experience at the condo and Mont Tremblant. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends. Thanks to Peter and Christine for ensuring our visit was a great one!

Wonderful little condo

When we first showed up to the condo i was a little shocked of how spacious it was compared to the pictures. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open concept and make the place feel bigger then it is.

Overall was a very good stay, Pete and Christine prepared it perfectly.

Stayed for IM Mont Tremblant

We rented the condo for 2 adults and our 2 teenaged girls for IM Mont Tremblant. It was good space for the four of us, and we were able to keep our bikes under the stairway just outside the door (unseen). Everything we needed was provided, and the condo was clean and well furnished. The washer and dryer came in handy as well. A nice back patio facing the pool was very relaxing. We had free access to the beach across the street w/ free paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking. Enough to keep the girls busy and happy! The condo is right across the street from the swim start of the Ironman-so easy access for practice. It's an easy 15 minute walk to pedestrian village where the expo, bike transition and finish line are located as well as restaurants, shopping, etc. This location is great if you want to be semi-away from the action, but not too far out. We highly recommend it. The hosts are very accessible and helped our trip go smoothly.

FAQ: We’d like to understand your rate breakdown. Can you clarify?
Great question. For bookings made on VRBO for our StayAtTremblant / TremblantByOwner properties, VRBO charges you between 5% and 12% for each booking and they charge us owners an additional 3% to process the payment (these fees contribute 8+% to the amount you pay to book). The Quebec taxes are 15% and, as of 2017, an additional 4% effective tax for Tourism has been implemented. Fully 27% (or more) of the total cost of this rental does not go to us, as owners (8+% to VRBO and 19% to Taxes)! Feel free to contact us if you have questions about the taxes. You can contact VRBO for information on their fees.
