We are a creative, urban couple who love to travel and enjoy environments with style.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2007
The location couldn't be better for exploring the best of what Vancouver has to offer.
Walking through the door and taking in the spectacular view will leave you speechless. Floor to ceiling glass gives you unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean while being nestled amongst the city skyline line.
We travel to Vancouver about three times a year. We were very happy to once again stay at The Skybox. This apartment is just great and a very cool spot to launch forays into the very hip Vancouver scene. The Vancity Theater is connected to the building where foreign and independent films are shown. We happened to catch the tail end of the Vancouver International Film Festival. What a cool thing to have so close to the apartment. The apartment has a very stylish interior, great contemporary kitchen. We cooked breakfast every morning but with all the fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance we always had dinner out. From fine dining to authentic, tasty and cheap ethnic foods, its all there.
One thing we do appreciate in rentals is a kitchen stocked with a few essentials like Olive oil and a few spices. The Skybox had that and a lot more. We have stayed in rentals that had absolutely nothing in the kitchen. You really don't want to purchase olive oil, salt and spices if you are there for a just a little while.
One of the best features is the incredible view from the floor to ceiling windows. Even if it was a rainy day and we wanted to stay close to home we weren't missing out on some great scenery. The owner is very responsive to suggestions and after a mention on our last visit she quickly added some great reading lamps for the bedroom.
The upper deck is truly incredible. The view and all the greenery really make it a special spot, definitely plan to spend some time up there!
Whilst the location is great for Yaletwon, the constant screams, fights and police cars, pretty much all night long on Granville St was disturbing to say the least. The building itself was not great - someone must have thrown up in the elevator and the mess was there almost the entire day. Further, there were creepy guys loitering on the floor in the corridors most days. If you have your own car, beware, as someone parked in the designated spot, which meant we had to find a place on the street (not easy in the rain), until the car was towed. Apartment roof top patio was closed down for winter - not disclosed by the owner. Apartment itself was nice and well equipped.
We were very happy with our stay at the Skybox Penthouse. The views were amazing and the light and bright interior made it beautiful even on a rainy day.
Wonderful location for all things in Yaletown, easy arrival and departure , and nice work-out facility made it a wonderful experience.
My wife and I just returned from spending 8 glorious nights at Kelly's Skybox Penthouse. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Vancouver, as we tied the knot there on a sailboat, under the annual celebration of lights fireworks, held out on the English Bay a decade ago. This year we were treated to the same spectacular three evenings of fireworks extravaganza from the jaw dropping Skybox rooftop deck !
Wow, what a fabulous luxury penthouse she has and as everyone else has previously exclaimed, the pictures just can’t capture the true awesome dwelling it is. Everything was perfect from our warm welcome from Angelica, that included fresh cut Lilies’s, to a bottle of excellent BC wine. We enjoyed incredible, comfortable weather with eight days of sunny skies and no precipitation.........a rarity in BC !
Our morning coffee with croissants savored on her outdoor patio decks and the every evening ending, lingering, magnificent sunsets from the private rooftop patio deck, while sipping a glass of wine, cannot be described adequately in words or pictures. What a mesmerizing experience it was to be a part of the vibrant city life below and watch the endless seagulls swirling beneath us and singing their sweet songs.
Thank you Kelly and Angelica for treating us to "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" if even for only a week !
Can’t wait to return again!
Vivian and Michael
This Penthouse was everything we would have hoped for and more .....
We have traveled a lot of the world and wanted to experience being tourists in our own town.
We planned to stay 4 nights and loved it so much, we stayed 5.
It started with a warm, friendly greeting with our host and a quick accent to the top, 33rd floor.
The view from the top balcony was spectacular .... that view lead you west on Davies to an almost unobstructed view of English Bay.
Great access to everything .... Yaletown, False Creek, Granville Island Market, Stanley Park, BC Place, Rogers Arena, shopping .....
We kayaked false creek, rented a jet ski & went to Doc Morgans on Bowen for lunch, walked over to T & T bought live crab & feasted,
biked around false creek, friends & family came in for dinner a couple of nights (West Oak & Brix n Mortar were awesome .... The Teahouse, not so much)
Excellent accommodation in the Top City in the World.
Thank you John & Kelly.
We will book this again !
My wife and I spent 5 days in this beautiful condo. It was perfectly located for touring. Yaletown was a 5 minute walk where you could find the best bars and restaurants. Condo was equipped with everything you could ask for and was beautifully decorated. I would recommend it to all my friends. Can't wait to go back in the winter and go skiing!
This was a wonderful apartment with incredible views, great location and a very comfortable living space. We will return here the next time we're in Vancouver .
