Don't be fooled by the studio aspect because this Loft is very spacious. Floor to ceiling windows give a stunning view looking out to some of Cleveland greatest landmarks. One thing I love is that you can open these windows in this unit for some fresh air in the morning or even for a cool refreshing Lake Erie breeze. This is a ONE BEDROOM property with ONE PRIVATE BATHROOM w/shower and tub. Entry way takes you pass the lofted Bedroom and Bathroom right into the very "open" and grand kitchen and living room space equipped with bars stools in the kitchen and an ever so cozy large sofa /ottoman. Living room has curtains to cover large windows for your privacy, 55 inch smart TV and of course WiFi (Powerful WiFi!). The bedrooms, looking over the kitchen and living room, offers an oversized QUEEN sized bed, with a walk in closet! Hi Im Joe! Born and raised in Cleveland Oh, I reside on the West Coast but my heart will always be in Ohio. new to the VRBO Platform but im no stranger to the business of short term renting. Why Property Manager chose Downtown
This Unit is Located Mid level with a stunning street view looking over all the Bars, clubs and most importantly the finest restaurants Ohio has to offer. Very safe area. A quick 5 min walk to all the best attractions. Most guests seem to "stay put" being that the finest local eats and nightlife is just right outside the front doors. If you're coming to Cleveland for leisure, work, sports game, or just family time, I can assure you, you wont be disappointed with this gem. Wont find any accommodations like the units I have to offer, when it comes to price and quality. Most of all a FULL KICTHEN. Make the most out of your stay, make yourself a home! Tribe Playoff Crash Pad
My husband & I had Tribe playoff tickets for Monday and Tuesday games. We decided rather than drive back and forth from home to downtown a couple days in a row, that it would be more fun and safer to find a place to stay downtown for a few nights! The hotels were pretty expensive, and we have rented around 75 houses/condos on VRBO over the years, so we found this condo on VRBO. The price was great, and the location was fantastic...very close to all the W 6th bars and restaurants, and within walking distance to Progressive Field! The condo itself was perfect for what we needed...a place to crash for a few nights downtown. If we were staying longer, we may have needed a few more kitchen items, but it was clean and provided all the basic necessities for a few nights.
The issues we encountered were with communication and Wi-Fi. The day of check-in we had no clue what to do upon arrival, and the property manager was somewhat difficult to get a hold of and the communication was not very clear and sporadic. He also seemed somewhat confused about what condo we had rented and when we were checking out! Once I spoke to him on the phone, we were able to get things straightened out and everything seemed ok as we got into the condo and it was ready for us. Another big issue for me was that I was supposed to do some remote work and this condo was listed to have Wi-Fi (I would not have booked it if I knew there would be no Wi-Fi)! There was no Wi-Fi at the condo, and when I tried to contact the property manager, again I had a lot of trouble getting a hold of him and to respond/follow through with resolving this issue! It never was resolved, so I ended up having to leave/check-out early in order to find Wi-Fi so I could work (a big inconvenience for me).
To be fair, and why I rated this 3-stars, is that I was given a $50 refund for the trouble/lack of Wi-Fi. Also, when I reached out to the owner (via VRBO), he responded quickly and issued my refund. The condo itself if a great place to stay for a few days downtown...they just need to improve immensely in the area of communication! As I stated before, we have rented around 75 places using VRBO and never had an issue...until now! They did try to make it right, so I will give them that, and that was appreciated!
Worst Experience - Waiting for Refund
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The only reason I gave two stars is that at least we had a place to stay after all was said and done...
We got to this property to find we could not get in. We used the codes given and they did not work. We had people that were leaving hold the doors for us so we could get up to the unit. When we get to the unit, the door was supposed to be unlocked, it wasn't. We kept trying the other code given and it would not work. Then to our surprise, someone opens the door. Someone was already staying there. Come to find out they were supposed to be in another unit that was also overbook so they were given ours. We called Alex (the owner) and advised the problem. He was at a family wedding and hurriedly tried to find us a place to stay. We had to take all of our belongings back to our already parked car, pay for the parking and go to another location. We had to pay for parking again. We got up to the unit to find:
-The new place would not stay at anything above 63° and it was cold outside
-There were no blankets in the unit, only 2 sets of sheets.
-There was only 1 washcloth.
-The WiFi was not available. We finally found it in the water heater closet.
-We tried to connect the WiFi and the TV Roku and nothing worked. No Local Channels
-We had to use a hotspot on our phone and used our data which we got charged for after going over
-We received no assistance with the TV issue. Even after making repeated texts/calls
- The front door lock is very loose and difficult to open, got stuck in the hallway for a while before we could get it to work
- The bathroom door does not latch
On the day we left, Alex text to ask if the TV worked. He advises he would provide a refund for our trouble with the TV. I let him know all the issues we had with our stay. We agreed on a refund arrangement. I have still yet to see any refund. I have contacted him back three times to date and he has not returned any messages.
I would caution people to stay under this management group or at least locations. This does not seem to be the first time this has happened. We found a letter in a drawer that said to “Call Alex immediately. We do not know who is staying in this unit.”
On the positive side… the unit we stayed in has a perfect location. It’s a shame. I kept all my text correspondence with Alex and continue to hope he makes this right.

I spoke with Joe regarding my stay. He advised he was informed by his property manager (Alex) of the issues with my booking. We went over the details and he explained what he has done to address the concerns. He was very nice and understanding of the frustration we had during our stay and was more than willing to work with us on a refund for our troubles. I feel Joe was very genuine in his response and also believe he has or is in the process of fixing the items listed in my original review.
