The Hayloft is a Spacious Cottage with Balcony and use of Indoor Swimming Pool, Comfortably sleeps 4 people,
Halwyn is an old Cornish farmstead, with the farmhouse believed to be around 250 years old, situated in a quiet and secluded valley on the Lizard Peninsula, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have 3 cosy and comfortable holiday homes. The holiday homes have been converted from an old barn and the piggery. Here you will find peace and tranquillity second to none, passing traffic is a rarity, with only the sounds of nature to break the silence. The grounds at Halwyn extend to some 2 acres and include a stream, a Large pond and beautiful lawned areas as well as many unusual and beautiful sub-tropical plants which grow well here with the benefit of the Gulf Stream.
Our holiday homes are all personally supervised and extremely well equipped, providing everything you need for a self catering holiday - if you should need anything else please ask. They are well decorated, clean and comfortable and are heated with electric heaters. Each unit has a TV and Blue Ray Player, cooker, microwave, fridge, heated towel rail and shaver sockets. The beds will be made up when you arrive and all bed linen, towels and electricity are included.
The weather in this part of Cornwall is milder than the rest of the country, so a holiday in spring, autumn or even winter can be a very pleasant experience. We are happy to arrange short breaks during Low and Mid seasons - please ask for details.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in Courtyard Cottage. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the cottages

Beautiful rural location! Relaxing.
We stayed in the hayloft and we just didn’t feel the need to rush anywhere. It’s remote and peaceful. A great base to explore Cornwall from. My two girl 5 & 9 loved having a pool onsite and didn’t want to leave, they had the freedom to safely roam, which was lovely as they don’t get that opportunity to do so living in London. Driving there was an experience in itself - those Cornish roads! 🙈😂 Highly recommend and would definitely return again! Thanks Debbie and David, you were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed our stay x
Very nice property with pool
All very nice, owners helpful and friendly. Would have been 5 stars but for the fact that its advertised as being in Saint Keverne which isn't the case, it's quite a few miles drive away. Recommended if you're looking for a quiet escape.
We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, and everything was to your liking
We would just like to clarify that we do not advertise our location as St Keverne, although we are less than 2 miles from St Keverne, our location states that we are at "Halwyn, Manaccan, tr126ep", which is our postal address, The location marker on our listing also clearly shows our location as being correct at Halwyn.
Thank you for your review

Peaceful and attractive location
Lovely property in great surroundings. Cornish roads a little challenging but not so bad when you get used to them.
Deborah and David were lovely hosts. Thanks Chris and Jenny
The property was as described, well appointed with good views over the garden. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. Lovely quiet spot, which we are used to. Tiny country lanes to get there, but they were so pretty in May. We would visit again.
We lost track of time(basically we forgot to check out ), tranquillity surrounding every place there, and accommodation 5 star plus is not a dream just go there and you will be impressed from arrival to departure
Thank you for your lovely review on the hayloft and hope to see you again in the future . Best wishes from David and Deborah Morris.
Very homely and well furnished
Halwyn, is set les than 1/2 a mile from the Southwest coast path and is popular with walkers, there are dive centres less than 2 miles away, where you can try scuba diving, There are fantastic places to eat within 2 miles Fat Apples Cafe and the Greenhouse , Restaurant. We do not accept dogs in the Hayloft
