Comfortable 4 BR, 2 BA house in a quiet neighborhood
- english, spanish
I am originally from California and moved to Montana for work. Since then I have launched a few endeavors which keep me busy and involved in the Billings community. One of these endeavors is Seva Kitchen which is located in Downtown Billings, a beautiful atmosphere, thoughtful food and great beer and wine list. Please check it out if you make it Downtown, we'd love to see you! I have a 5-year old son who keeps me on my toes and having the most fun. We travel a lot but always have someone on call to make sure guests are taken care of.
Harvey purchased this House in 2014
Why Harvey chose Billings
This property is well taken care of, and a great place to relax and take it easy. It's nice to feel at home and comfortable when you're away fro your own - whether it's for business or pleasure, travel made comfortable is important. We've worked really hard to make it an oasis so folks have anything they might need. The house has a lot of great memories, had many delicious meals prepared and shared, seen a few drastic renovations in order to give it an open, more connected vibe.
What makes this House unique

The keyless entry with code lock is safe and secure. Extra precautions for safety have been implemented offering 24-hour alarm monitoring and security cameras outside entrances. We want you, and your things, safe while you enjoy your time this house.

We noticed something fishy was going on when this property was no longer available to rent. That should have served as a big red flag, and we should have never booked a house that had no prior guest reviews (we booked in January before there were reviews). We stayed for two nights, we are all professionals and in our mid thirties. It was a lovely weekend get away, we were able to enjoy the hot tub twice during our stay for about 30 minutes each day, we were clean upon entering and never left it uncovered. There was not a booklet with any information on the house, the owner blamed a previous guest for stealing it, I thought it odd and unprofessional to throw guests under the bus instead of just replacing it. There were no instructions on the hot tub, there was not a limit to the amount of people allowed inside, the most we had in the hot tub at a time was 6, you easily could have added two more, as it appeared to be an 8 person hot tub. The morning of our departure we washed all dirty dishes, took out the trash and left the house very tidy. The following evening I began to receive threatening text messages from the owner, he sent a photo of what he claimed was the filter to the hot tub, it looked more like a screen and was definitely not a hot tub filter. He claimed that he would have to buy a new hot tub filter and that the heating element burned out. The following morning I was still receiving threatening messages from him and he was claiming that the motor on the hot tub needed to be replaced now and that he was finding damage to his home. He said that he had video surveillance footage of us disrespecting his property, I hope he does have the footage because it will only support the truth, which is that we treated his home with absolute respect. Next he said that the longer I waited to pay him the higher the bill would grow, and that I would end up paying his lawyer fees, he put in an additional payment request, although he never provided any documentation from hot tub technicians or receipts to back his ridiculous allegations. He left me a vulgar voicemail, swearing and telling me that I was going to regret this. He is using scare tactics to try to exploit me for extra money. I immediately a filed formal complaint through Vrbo and am prepared to go to court.
Beware of this renter. DO NOT RENT! Exterior security cameras show renter damaging hot tub. She rented the property as 1 Adult and had numerous visitors and damaged the tub and the inside of the home. She then refused to pay for the damages. Then she completely lied about what happened. Thankfully we have security cameras showing the complete opposite of her claims. Save yourself a headache. This is every homeowners nightmare.
nice house; dog issues
When we arrived for our stay we immediately saw that there was a lot of dog waste in the yard, and dog paw prints on the door. So we decided to let our dog in rather than having her sleep in the car. The owner found out, and reacted quite personally and unprofessionally to being told that we cleaned up about 75 dog turds from the yard, which took a while and was vile. He made it seem like we were guests who had violated his personal space.
Great vacation home in Billings!
Unique house, had everything we needed. Hot tub was great!
Family- friendly house in a convenient location! Had everything we needed for our stay. Will stay here again!
Had everything we needed to make stay enjoyable. The only thing we did not have was booklet explaining house information, I was informed that it was being updated by owner.
A few things needing attention
Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. We experienced a few challenges upon arrival, not necessarily on the behalf of the owner. The information book said to be on the kitchen table was missing. The oven had an error code and was not functioning. The master bed was missing a top sheet.
We enjoyed using the hot tub, though it flipped the breaker while we were using it, and we were unable to get it running again.
The owner was quick to answer his phone and offer assistance when needed. And, while it was not our best experience with a VRBO, if a few of these things were fixed, we would consider staying there again.
