About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms + Loft + Den, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10, more with cots)

Beautiful lake home on scenic Six and Twenty Creek section of gorgeous Lake Hartwell. You won't believe that you're only two minutes from a multitude of restaurants (Longhorn, Applebee's, Chili's, Cracker Barrel, etc...) and shopping, but you're home on a quiet peninsula with a beautiful view of the lake. Watch for the deer, ducks, beaver, fox and raccoons from the comfort of a spacious glass porch.

The home is a quick 15 minutes from the Clemson campus- perfect for those game get togethers!

The outdoor fireplace and TV are perfect for football season. Watch all the games outdoors in front of a roaring fire! We just installed some additional heaters out back to warm the winter evenings.

Relax and enjoy the solitude. Read a book, ride a jet ski, or anything in between. The choice is yours. After a day of activity, choose one of the many popular restaurants nearby, or range out to nearby Greenville, Clemson, or Seneca for an even wider variety. Regardless of which activities or dining choices you enjoy, you'll probably find it here.

About Tracey

We both grew up in the Atlanta area, but wanted to find a place nearby where we could go to relax. In 2006, we found it. Having visited most areas of the Lake several times, we were concerned about some of the 'drive to the store' trips that we'd have to make in some areas. This house is so conveniently located, yet in a very quiet place on the lake. You really can't believe it until you see it. Our family loves getting together here.

Tracey purchased this house in 2006

Why Tracey chose South Carolina

We love the convenience of this lakeside home. It's so near everything...restaurants, shops, entertainment. There's so much to do at the Lake and around Anderson!

It's also a fantastic 'base camp' for those a bit more adventurous. The mountain regions of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia are all close, each offering their own flavor of landscape and local color. Asheville and Biltmore house are a great day trip. Your options are endless!

What makes this house unique

We're renovating the home. Within the last couple of years we have completed the outdoor fireplace and TV, the new sunroom overlooking the lake. Just completed this year is a new outdoor cooktop and bar and landscaping. There's a great place to retreat from the sun behind the beautiful stone and brick columns. The view is fabulous in any season!

The home also has a private covered dock for boating, swimming, or if you'd just like to dip your toes in the water..

There are several waterside restaurants accessible to the boater. Just unlash your boat from the dock on the property and scout out the restaurant of your choice! If you choose to explore by land, try old Anderson, just down Clemson Boulevard 4 miles...there you'll find quaint shops and restaurants, even a cigar bar for those of that liking.

Absolutely amazing

  • 5 of 5

Having never rented someone’s home before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, and was definitely apprehensive, but when the entire family was traveling from New Jersey to South Carolina for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson, renting hotel rooms seemed a little confining, especially knowing that with us would be an active three year old and his one year old baby brother. After an extensive search, I found this beautiful home. The house is very large and spacious. The back room of the house is filled with rockers that invite you to relax while taking in the beautiful view of the lake. The owners were extremely helpful, responded immediately to any questions we had prior to our arrival, and available during our stay. The bedrooms were large and mattresses comfortable, washer and dryer were great to have especially with the little ones, plenty of towels, and linens. The generous living spaces were inviting and so large that they more than facilitated our entire crew. Then you go through the doors and see the outdoor space….. Absolutely amazing! Bar, huge grill, fireplace, large screen TV, plenty of seating, view of the lake, just incredible. I cannot enough about how wonderful our stay was. An extra touch was the owners inviting us to use the spices, foils, and wraps etc. that were left in the kitchen. There is nothing more frustrating than having to but a spice when you only need a teaspoon, then throwing it out before leaving. It might seem trivial to some, but to me it added the element of making me feel more like an invited guest than a renter. The home is very conveniently located, which made it easy to go into downtown Anderson, or back to Clemson without any trouble. Since this was the last of my three children to graduate from Clemson, I am not sure if I ever will be back, but if I were there would be no question of where I would stay. My only regret is not having found this sooner.

Thank you Tracey for making us feel like family.

Awesome lake house!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best stay at this lake house! The pictures do not do this property enough justice. It is a beautiful house with a great lake view. The outdoor seating area was awesome and with a TV, fireplace, and outdoor grill. There was plenty of seating for everyone. You will hardly spend any time inside, but the inside of the home is just as gorgeous and spacious as the outside. I highly recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a relaxing getaway!

  • 4 of 5

The house was just as advertised and all in working order - no surprises! The beds and linens were comfortable and of good quality. The house is located in a quiet safe neighborhood and readily accessible to everything in Anderson. Tracey was easy to work with and very prompt with all information and responses to my questions. We had a fantastic weekend!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for 4 nights to check on progress of the home we are building in the area. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tracey. Truly a pleasure, very responsive and accommodating! Location to amenities in town is fantastic! The pictures do not do the home justice.

We enjoyed every minute - spending a lot of time in front of both beautiful fireplaces making wonderful memories with our family.

Thank you Tracey and Tamara for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
