The condo was clean, pretty and centrally located inside old Quebec. The owner, Adrian, was easy to contact and very gracious and helpful. Good restaurants, pastry shops, and even a little convenience (epicerie) store all within 2-3 blocks. Especially loved the heated floor in the cute bathroom.
Can't wait to come back to Quebec and stay in the condo again!
First visit to Quebec City and we were pleased that we found a very good location inside the city walls. We parked the car about 3 streets away and rarely used it. Great city for walking and easily getting around.
The condo was comfortable, clean and well-maintained. There were just two of us, so we had plenty of room.
Friendly, local owner who was there to great us & show us the features of the condo.
Our family of six stayed in this condo March 2016. It is an ideal location to see everything in this charming city. We found the condo to be beautifully renovated, well stocked and very clean. The owner was friendly and professional. The photos truly represent this wonderful space. We enjoyed exploring both the upper and lower portions of Old Quebec. Our family took a walking tour and a food tour through "Les Tours Voir Quebec" which were highlights of our trip. We easily walked everywhere...only needing our car to drive to the Ice Hotel (Hotel de Glace) for a tour and the Aquarium. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again on another trip to Quebec!
We stayed here for the month of June 2014. This condo is a truly pleasant place to stay. Lovely decor; everything well-maintained; the full kitchen well-stocked with pots, etc. so you can actually cook; and a superb location in beautiful Old Quebec. The owners went out of their way to be friendly, which added to our enjoyment. We're thrilled that we chose this condo.
This condo has the most perfect location imaginable, only steps from Chateau Frontenac and all the history that Quebec's Old City has to offer, both Upper Town and Lower Town. A car is not necessary -- everything is within walking distance! (However, if you do bring or rent a car for day trips to Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency Falls, Saint-Anne Basilica, or Charlevoix, there is a 24-hour public parking lot under nearby City Hall that is a reasonable $12/day.)
Regarding the apartment itself, the website pictures are very accurate -- this is a beautiful, large, and immaculately clean property. Both bedrooms are large and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped for real cooking, dining table seats 6, and the living room with working fireplace is huge, with a comfortable sleeper sofa. The one surprise about the apartment is that the en-suite bathroom off the master bedroom does not have a wall or door -- it flows directly into the bedroom. There is a shower, large clawfoot tub, and sink, but no toilet. The toilet (and a sink) is in a small half-bath off the hallway. As I say, this was surprising, but was not a drawback in any way. Just be prepared for 1 full bathroom, split between two rooms, not 1.5 bathrooms, as described above. Finally, there is a large and practical laundry room and balcony with table and 2 chairs in the rear of the apartment. This is a terrific apartment, very comfortable for a family or two couples.
The owner and his lovely daughter were friendly and responsive. All questions were answered very quickly by email or phone. My only suggestion regarding communication with renters is that it would be nice to have a fact sheet or welcome booklet for the property, with information regarding when to take out the trash, check-out procedures, public transportation information, etc. Altogether, this was one of our favorite family vacations, and a big part of the trip's success was staying in such a wonderful, welcoming, and perfectly located apartment.
We loved this condo and its fantastic location in Old Quebec, close to attractions and amenities. A small grocery store next door caters for emergency supplies and there are many restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Plan your parking with care (underground car park nearby $22/day as at July 11) - apparently possible to park for free on edge of town and bus in.
